Of course, no one is better than this guys daughter. If you think your daughter is, then you’re living vicariously through her in an alternate reality. Lolololololololol.

If you think there are any players on non-PDA clubs that are as good or better than some of the PDA players, you must be living in some kind of fantasy land. Lol.

They should start a reality series following PDA parents. They would make Dance Moms look normal.

Could see the writing on the wall early on hence the move to get out and switch to an established and stable league with a track record.

There are. We left PDA after three years of seeing how it operates. She’s helping build something rather than being part of something established.

Everyone is different. Don’t get caught up in all the hype.

Agree, everyone is different. What works for some does not work for others. Depends on the motivation both mentally and physically if a certain club/team is for the individual player. It worked for my oldest and prepared her for playing and competing in college. Glad that your daughter found a different program and is happy helping to build something there. That being said, the next level is not an extension of club soccer. Nothing wrong playing in an established program known and respected in all four regions and respected by college coaches. While you have parents laughing at some of these posts there are many colleges right now standing on the sidelines in NC watching players that they have identified or players who contacted them directly at an ECNL event.

Responding to your post on my post. With you 100%. Everyone has different values and nothing wrong a being part of something already built and be part of the building. Just play ball, compete, then see where the chips fall.

It must be a joy for you to read some of the postings on this board after seeing your kid go through the process and saying to yourself “a lot of these folks have no idea.”

Best decision we ever made was to leave GA for an established ECNL program. But I agree it’s not for everyone and all situations are different. Nonetheless seems like GA is taking a different approach with the whole player run thing and a more “relaxed” atmosphere. Hope it works out.
