Did this start with Newman? Or was this an issue prior to him purchasing STA? Tim predates Newman as far as I know.

The Cryer thing was a Tim/Newman joint production. They needed his players for DA and thought they could keep the players after kicking Cryer out. Wrench in their plan was the collapse of DA.

To anyone who thinks that people complain about Tim and STA because their daughter didn't on the best team only need to look at the DA situation.

Cryer was brought in and only 3 existing STA players were on the 05 DA team. You can say it's a quality thing, but the top 05 team had more than 3 players that could play in DA easily, but deals were made.

That’s an understatement, for anyone new coming in they’ll learn the hard way. It’s a shame because it was a good club but it’s gone sideways now.

Newman has been, and always will be about the checks coming in. He doesn’t care about quality. STA have never been an elite club. They only did well at some ages because of Cryer and Tim chewed him up and spat him out. Borderline town program. Name one significant team they have ever had that didn’t come from the Stallions. It’s quantity over quality. Newman has lawyer and court fees to pay.

Since DA is gone STA is not as important. PSA is getting GAL which makes STA even less important. The focus will all be on PSA. Whether people like Tim or not he was the one person that made STA what it once was. When he is gone STA will be just another insignificant soccer club in NJ

Agreed, the scoop is that PSA will likely join STA in GA. Makes sense since CSA has 2 locations as well.
