Good point. Will GA be around in 2-3 years?

He already told the 2010 Greens he won’t be coaching them next year.

Of course it will still be around, but the question is which clubs will still be part of it and how good will the quality of play be. Likely a tertiary league at this pace which is sad as it should be a solid secondary option.

The CSA coach spin zone never quits on TS. Thankfully the truth comes out.

Tom isn’t coaching the 201 Green team and Niko is trying to leave to become the Penn Fusion Zone 1 director.

Spin spin spin. The people that know, actually know. Then there are those that come on here to try to push a bunch of bs in hopes it will help their try outs.

PF is not the only club in the mix for NS

Exactly. CSA is where he coaches and where he is staying.

The only person who knows that is NS and he apparently never posts on this board

Guys... don’t be nervous, I know try outs are coming and you need to invoke fear in anyone thinking of trying out at CSA. You’re intimidated, we get it. Just tell RT to do what he did for the ID clinics. Mandatory practices at the same time and threats of being kicked off the team if they attend anything related to CSA. Nothing says stable training environment quite like that!

I'd say its not quite that dramatic at HS age but this year's starters better realize there is no guarantee for next year and you will be fighting much harder for PT. Some of those players coming in will be taking top 11 spots for sure.

Niko is a tyrant who verbally abuses his players, he has a long history at LVU and now recently has pissed of a large group of the parents at CSA for those same type of “motivational” tactics. Threats, negative name calling, and otherwise abusive behavior should never be allowed at any club. Plenty of coaches deploy this type of tool to motivate, and in my experience it doesn’t work with younger players especially female players. As a parent of three girls it’s my job to protect them from men who are abusive why would I pay a coach for this type of behavior?

Each coach has its style and some need to tone it down a bit others need more energy. But you’re right you have to be careful with young female players as being tough on them may turn them off to the game not help them. It’s a very fine line and can go in either direction. As long as foul language and pressurization tactics are not used motivating players is a good thing.

Just because your kid responds one way to a coach, others may respond a different way. It's all relative. Maybe not the best team for your kid. I was told once by a male coach that my kid may respond better to a woman coach and that my daughter physically looks like a cheerleader and not a soccer player, um yeah we left that team. Do what you think is right for your kid.
