Just the fact that STA, CSA or SJEB are not included in ECNL and in the meantime there is MF, south, white should tell you that ECNL is not rational soccer development org, but just a monopolistic business practice that rewards cronies. There is no evaluation, there is a grease the wheel award.

I feel bad for SJEB and STA, they deserve better, but the GA really shoots itself in the foot by adding garbage clubs to its repertoire.

Standards examples are:
- will train 3x a week
- will have a mental/game review session
- will promote younger players to older teams
- will play 1 game under max conditions
- attend showcases against “like for like” skilled teams
- will have coaches attain a level of training
You leave when you can’t meet those standards.
Those are development and sometimes aspirational standards. Some ECNL teams (not in this area) follow these. Most of the ECNL clubs in this area basically recruit kids rather than have their own development standards. Smart kids who join the area have their own standards what maintain parity, frequently with outside training.

So what are you actually saying? GAL has a superior product? So why are the best clubs bailing?

Neither Mercer or Shore has ECNL teams for girls. Only Morris location does.
