Parent education is obviously an issue as usually they are equating wins and ranking (especially at younger ages) to development. That's why there is club hoping in many cases, but not the only reason. If coaches actually develop their roster and don't pull the bs talked about on this forum ad nauseam then there would be a lot less movement. Coaches that whine like you are usually part of the problem.

See, I think coaches and clubs that go on about the badge they have or what league they play for and always saying it isn't about winning have issues as well. Only a few will have winning teams in whatever league they are in. Someone on an 05 roster doesn't care how well the 01 team did or the 07 team is now. Things looked at are never taken into consideration like do they play just Fall/Spring with months off at a time or 12 months with a week or two off here and there? How do the players look on the field vs practice ie great your players do all those special moves in practice but when the game hits they just do step overs and pull backs and lose the ball. Does the coach say anything corrective during a game or joystick? Are they yelling at the same people while others making the same mistake go free?

There is a ton of things to look for but none of the clubs measure up to what they should be to truly advance their players.

So what? Compete on price for once like other products do. This is a business and millions and millions is made off of youth sports. What does thanks have to do with it?

I think only town clubs that are very reasonable and run off of volunteer work can expect to operate off of thanks. The rest are selling a product for money.

Did they get paid while the kids/players/customers where at CSA, SJEB, PSA or any other club?

In that regard all the township coaches should be the most upset, as most of them are volunteering.

Trainers responsibility are for those players who are presently on the club today and to work with them to the best of their abilities. That’s it. Your analogy is the same when the best player on the town team decides to move to a club team like CSA, SJEB because they want better to be in a more competitive atmosphere against better competition. Those clubs welcome these town players. What is the issue for the best club players on that team then making the move from those clubs to PDA? It’s a natural progression. Those parents who say it’s wrong are just mad that it’s not their daughter.

Anyone check the score on CSA girls 2010s this weekend at the PDA tournament.
Wondering how CSA best girls team fared? I’m also asking for a friend who is deciding on where to take his daughter for tryouts ?
