Why is that? They have the facilities what’s missing?

Nothing to do with monetary. That is not what is meant for “all in”. Any player and parent on the Blue team understands going in what that means for that particular team.

Correct they do, but unfortunately not so much with 06 and up. A lot of top players leave for PDA as they get older. Freaking PDA reaps all the rewards other clubs put in.

It’s about being a total fanatic and requires gallons of cool aide.

If you’re not up at 7 am defending the clubs reputation on anonymous forums you are not “all in”.

That in a nutshell describes what is wrong with youth football today. Some clubs like CSA do all the hard work from U8 to U15 and others like PDA scoop up the players when they get to HS age. They should make rules to control this sort of behaviour.

Rules for what? How would you enforce any? Multiple leagues with multiple governing authority how do you control that? ECNL has a club loyalty clause which they never say anything about unless you want to quest play or just have fun on a township team with friends. You want to stop people from leaving, have a better product. Can't get into ECNL then stalk as many teams at tournaments as you can and beat them or others that beat them. Work for that state cup, regional and national title and take chances in out of state tournaments. And make it more affordable then the others clubs or offer more or both.

The 10s are 89th in the Nation, they haven’t played anyone besides PDA and MF. The amount of games the team has played in the last year is a disservice to the team. They are far from really good, and the longer they stay @ CSA the worse the group will get especially when they begin to play in the GAL where they will barely play any teams with a pulse.

You have to be kidding me. These clubs charge a fortune and on top of that they are going to start controlling who plays where. No. The customer pays through the nose and can chose whatever place they want as long as player makes the team.

Yah but common parents club hopping constantly has to be controlled somehow. The hard working coaches and trainers put in so much time and effort and barely get any thanks. Parents are clueless about how difficult it is to create great players and then as another post said they leave for PDA.

The coaches and players jump around just as much as the kids. Loyalty goes both ways.

Provide a great training environment and a pathway to play at the highest levels and parents won't leave.

So what? Compete on price for once like other products do. This is a business and millions and millions is made off of youth sports. What does thanks have to do with it?

I think only town clubs that are very reasonable and run off of volunteer work can expect to operate off of thanks. The rest are selling a product for money.

Parent education is obviously an issue as usually they are equating wins and ranking (especially at younger ages) to development. That's why there is club hoping in many cases, but not the only reason. If coaches actually develop their roster and don't pull the bs talked about on this forum ad nauseam then there would be a lot less movement. Coaches that whine like you are usually part of the problem.
