You have to be kidding me. These clubs charge a fortune and on top of that they are going to start controlling who plays where. No. The customer pays through the nose and can chose whatever place they want as long as player makes the team.

So what? Compete on price for once like other products do. This is a business and millions and millions is made off of youth sports. What does thanks have to do with it?
I think only town clubs that are very reasonable and run off of volunteer work can expect to operate off of thanks. The rest are selling a product for money.
