Has CSA ever beaten a PDA Blue team? Just curious

No but that’s because they are ducking CSA every chance they get. No wonder they continue to block one of the top clubs on the East Coast and probably the country from gaining entrance into ECNL. Eventually the matchups will take place PDA can’t keep hiding forever.

Can't refute PDA hides (they say selective) but seriously don't think any team is hiding from CSA. The girls side is in absolute in shambles. Does CSA have a good girls team at any age group?


CSA Bergen is awful now after having a few decent teams over the years and I don't recall the last time CSA Monmouth even had a good girls team in recent memory.

CSA Bergen's 01 team was pretty good 2 years ago. Other than that, they haven't had anything more than average teams.

Sadly that is the case when it comes to CSA. To even compare to PDA Blue (heck even PDA Shore) to CSA is laughable.

Are you talking about nefc? PDA would demolish them by 5 goal minimums at every single age group.

That’s if they hold back and don’t run up the score. Not a fan of PDA either but reality is reality.

PDA is a solid organization but don’t get caught up in the hype. My D was at PDA for three years and we left to see how other soccer organizations work. At PDA we saw kids not get picked for a team and then parents politic to get kid back on team and then voila the kid was back on the team. I saw parents from the B team take their kid to stand on the sidelines to watch A team games to demonstrate to the A team coach how dedicated they were to want to be on their team. I saw parents position themselves to enroll players for the coach’s winter program in order to gain favor. I saw this constant craze to buy PDA licensed Nike gear every time there was a Ewing Sports apparel trailer on the field grounds as a badge of honor and membership. I saw parents leverage one better performing kid at one age group to get a lower performing sibling at another age group rostered. I don’t even want to start on the constant push to sell raffle tickets, purchase PDA banquet tickets and other fundraisers in order to demonstrate to the powers that be how dedicated you were to the PDA brand.

Lots of folks get caught up on the PDA brand and not everything over there is about what happens on the field between the lines. Also, don’t know if the PDAs of the soccer world necessarily want to play teams in their own state because the glow of being the most dominant team in the area may come off after results on the field play out.

Find the best place for your kid and their development I say.

Just an example of parents not being realistic about their daughter/players ability. It should always be about your daughters play on the field that dictates and gives direction to what club/team she should play with to train/play. I have never interfered or gone to the lengths that I have seen other parents while my daughter played at PDA. We just never “jumped through the hoops”. It is quite simple either your good enough or your not! What you mentioned about PDA is very accurate but it’s magnified there because of the clubs reputation and standing in the soccer community. You go to Showcases and ECNL events and the Blue team have “bullseye” on their jersey. Teams/parents of opponents are very excited and up for those matches. The sidelines are packed with college coaches of your daughter’s dream about. That is why parents act in this way to get there daughters on these teams. Fortunately for my daughter she has been able to navigate through this pressure atmosphere both on the field at games and training as well as off the field. PDA Blue is not for everyone and you have to be prepared for the competitiveness at all times. You have to be “all in”.

Correct, our GA club had $600 Capelli kits and half the **** purchased is never worn. Ridiculous stuff.

CSA Monmouth had a couple good girls teams at the younger ages at this time last year, but they have since moved to another club.

CSA Monmouth had a couple good girls teams at the younger ages at this time last year, but they have since moved to another club.

CSA Monmouth has some really good teams at the younger age group right now.
