Nothing to see here, much like the whole thing with the HS play and DA. People just like to stir up trouble when there was none there. All followed the rules 100%.

Oh boy. Do I have done clubs for you. Look around Polly Anna and open your eyes.

If CSA had the ECNL label it’s earned I’m sure kids would not even consider ECRL....
        CSA Bergen = pretty good.

        CSA Monmouth = joke

Yes kids were caught in the middle but none of it was a surprise nor should it have been to parents who should have been paying attention.

Of course it was a surprise. They hot and heavy oversold it as God's gift to youth soccer and then poof...all gone.

I live in Bergen and looked into CSA Bergen a few times for D. Honestly, other than the 01 team from 2 years ago, they haven't really had any good teams. I have a few friends who have had daughters there. The one with the D who is most serious about soccer ended up leaving for another club because she found the commitment level of most of the other kids on the team to be lacking (skipping practices, not wanting to go to showcases, etc). Two that stayed were symptomatic of that (their commitment level to the team and the game was pretty bad). Another stayed because she had a bunch of knee injuries and just decided it wasn't worth moving to another club. Another left to give up soccer. All of these were 02/03 players. Know a couple of 04 players who were at NJ Crush in their younger years who left for other clubs before they aged into CSA Bergen just because they didn't think it was a very good club.

If you think this of CSA Bergen what the heck does that say about CSA Monmouth??? I thought the prevailing thought was that CSA Bergen was the better and more established branch of the two.

I think, just my opinion, that CSA Monmouth is the better of the two. Both have quality. But to each their own.

CSA Monmouth is solid on the boys side but they do not support the girls program

Funny I was just going to say that the girls side is very strong. As well as the boys side. I constantly see on here that the girls side isn’t supported and that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

I'm speaking the truth. The CSA coaches posting on here only want to suppress what real parents are saying.

How come if anyone says anything positive about the girls side of CSA it’s always only a coach posting? That’s just ridiculous. Hate to burst your theory but I am not a coach, nor do I believe that any of the coaches are posting on here, I do in fact believe the girls side is supported. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. If people are unhappy they can certainly look elsewhere, every player needs to be with the right fit. But a blanket statement that the girls side is unsupported is just blatantly false.
