When it comes to recruitment it’s a very tough sell for those top players who have choices of similar programs. When these players have choices it’s a tough sell for a college in the North East, turf fields, weather conditions and located in NJ.
Big10 is a tough schedule. Rutgers has played several not very elite teams in it though such as nebraska, illinois and md. None of these teams has many wins if any at all.
Several wins were pk gifts. They will not play wisconsin or purdue. They will face indiana when their gk is at german nat'l camp.
they did not schedule any acc ooc games or any p5 ooc for that matter. Running up the score on FDU is not the same. Surely you agree. This is not hate, they are doing well. But It is a fact.

And yet here they are with a perfect conference record. The road to championships are always littered with lucky bounces missteps by defenders and PKs. You have to be excellent and lucky. All elite sports teams start with excellence then you sprinkle in luck.

You seem to be validating what everyone is saying. Lets compare your behaviour to FSU fans. Im pretty sure they are not jumping up and down about where they are RN. Elite TEAMS have much bigger fish to fry than you seem moved to celebrate prematurely. Elite PROGRAMS are the ones that whenever you mention them, there is no debate.

100% agree. Also defending off the line (a la K. Lilly). Luck is the uncalculated variable in any championship or success.

Look the real test will be how they do in playoffs. Plenty of conference winners get bounced quickly, others have more staying power.

Rutgers finishes ranked 6 th in the country. We’ll be interesting to see how they do in big dance. No matter how they finish. Their success or failure will have a lot to do with PDA New Jersey girls. You got to love that

They are well prepared both mentally and physically. They have won championships, league titles as well as lost big games. They are well prepared to playing under pressure.

At least there story continues after the regular season. This really must be hard on the PDA haters who were hoping for bad things to happen to RU. The PDA players have contributed to the success of this team and that’s all that matters.

Only thing hard is the cost that NJ taxpayers have contributed to the success of the Rutgers Womens team without any golf outings to raise the funds.

Losing a soccer game isn't a bad thing to happen in anyones real world/who cares other than parents of the Rutgers PDA players (hi dad). The entire athletic department bleeding millions of dollars is a bigger issue than the Rutgers Womens soccer team actually winning something.

Maybe get rid of that loser professor that keeps disparaging white people.

You must have a degree from RU with that grammar.

Good luck to the ladies vs Iowa! Great accomplishment by Mike ONeill and the team. RU’s first B1G Reg season championship in any team sport! Now let’s win the tourney too.

Mike O’Neill -big 10 coach of the year. ! Good guy for him. Best team they have ever had in part due to local girls staying home. Now that’s what I call an ELITE program.
