Disgraceful should replace Development in “DA”.

Unless of course you enjoy having to have your 9 year old constantly looking over her shoulder because RT is always adding new players. And don't be offended by drunken parents on the sidelines yelling at their kids all the time during games. Oh yea, be prepared to shell out thousands of dollars for outside training because your 9 year old will be replaced in a heartbeat by a new player.
When are people going to realize that 98% of the time it's not about their kid. It's a freaking business. These clubs are all in it to make money so they're always going to add more and more kids despite what they may tell you. Some clubs have B and C teams that are there to support the top teams so they'll gladly take your money.
Pay to play has been around a long time. If you want your kid to play, line the coaches pocket by hiring them for additional personal training which will likely get your kid nowhere if they have marginal talent. Chances are your kid isn't going to play at the collegiate level unless unless they have speed, size, a high soccer acumen and top level talent. Scholarships you say? Maybe if they're really good, they might get a partial but they'd be better off studying hard and getting academic money. Otherwise, they can play D3 soccer and be placed on a roster with 28 kids but hey you get to tell all your friends your kid plays college soccer.

Avoid anything to do with MF like plagues. MF Mercer, MF Shore, MF Morris ...

You’ve missed the point. Why on earth would you spend 3k to be apart of an Academy when you absolutely are not getting adequate training by that coach ?? Who actually can’t train. Entire teams are paying for outside training at MF Shore ( although I heard that a particular trainer is being paid by the club for that training while others are paying out of pocket). It’s nonsensical and stupid. And yes, on top of all that your kid will be replaced instantly if he finds someone better.

              That’s accurate.

CSA definitely has a favorite group that they cater and other talented players have left as well... Unfortunately CSA did not value my kid or their talent so another club scooped her up.
Just a word of advice, there always will be another club to scoop your kid up and a 3rd and a 4th because they want your money not because they value your kid or think they have talent. My kid played at CSA and I didn't think it was all that great either.

CSA should be avoided at all costs

I agree, CSA should be avoided, but be warned, stay further away from MF Shore. According to threads on here, that guy RT is a drunk and I don't know why anyone would want their kid to be associated with him, regardless of how many Jeff Cup trophies he has.

CSA is a decent option for the boys side, but it was not a good fit for our daughter

Great fit for our daughters. Awesome trainers and that’s all we are looking for at the moment, excellent training.

I thought Covid caused the DA to fold?

The girls DA folded because it was a joke. Girls want to play high school soccer and it led to girls doing both which some clubs tried to sweep under the rug and ignore. Also the substitution rules were a joke. It's youth soccer not US National Team soccer. The one and done sub rule was a joke.

Not surprised we had a not so good experience there as well. Avoid if possible. We even went to PSA over CSA if that tells you anything. Lots of empty promises and poor training.

Had both a son and daughter there as well. Boys side was fine but the girls side was terrible so we also moved on about a year ago. It’s a shame because the facilities are top notch but that’s about it.
