Curious to see what some NJ clubs would do if they get the ECRL option. Like STA for instance. They have been pushing GA big time but would they take a chance by going ECRL? I guess the big question is IF they get that option. That goes for the other NJ GAL clubs too

That clearly means welcome to RL but they are also saying after a few years maybe there will be promoted. So that means the majority of players U15 and up when the college showcase years matter will not have that opportunity.

ECNL GIRLS EXPANDS NORTH TEXAS REGIONAL LEAGUE WITH FIVE NEW TEAMS FOR 2021-22 SEASON
RICHMOND, VA (March 8, 2021) – The ECNL Girls is excited to announce the addition of five new clubs to the ECNL Girls Regional League – North Texas for the upcoming 2021-22 season: Fever United Soccer Club, Kernow Storm City FC, North Texas Celtic Soccer Club, Renegades Soccer Club and West Side Alliance.
“It’s extremely exciting to announce these new additions to the ECNL Girls Regional League – North Texas,” said ECNL Girls Commissioner Jen Winnagle. “All five clubs will elevate competition levels in the league and expand the depth of the player pool in this region. Through additional resources and increasing standards, the ECNL Regional League – North Texas will further nurture the league’s mission to Raise the Game for every club.”
“The addition of these clubs to the ECNL Girls Regional League – North Texas membership represents the extraordinary depth of talent in our region,” added Aaron Gordon, ECNL Regional League – North Texas League Director. “All of these teams now have the opportunity to continue their journey and to work for the potential to compete for a place in the ECNL post-season pathway.”
Do you guys here know geography or even know how to read an announcement?

Everyone in this area knows ECRL is inferior. The point of the question was if STA (or any GA club) would go ECRL and what are they willing to do to get into ECNL. If ECRL can be a proving ground that leads to ECNL than clubs will take that chance. Its already worked for clubs outside of this area.
But this is all assuming any of these clubs get that option. I also know clubs like STA would do anything to get into ECNL and GAL would get dropped in a heartbeat

That said, I agree that PDA would probably do whatever it could to prevent STA from being offered the chance to play ECRL.

Strange if the ecrl clubs are actually trying to avoid STA.
