So training at the younger ages is taking credit for already skilled players? Wouldn't it be coaches from PDA who get these players in their teens and plaster them all over as their success be the ones taking credit?

Correct, like when all the better Real players move over who will take the credit, PDA. Who developed them from when they were U8? Likely parent coaches at Real. Just the reality of how things work in today’s youth soccer landscape.

Really? Didn't most of AJAX get its start at SJEB? Kylie Dingle, Faith Slimmer? How many others? I don't think their is a better trainer in SJ then JT at SJEB. With that though you would first have to get onto a squad he trains. He does talk a good game and may over promise before you come over but his training is still heads above any other in the area.

The other way to look at it is those kind of players would be great no matter who they trained with, and that at some point they outgrew the club they started with.

That is PDA's model, not unlike the MLS academies who pull the kids who are identified early.

Changing "S" to "W" in "Shore" seems more appropriate.

Daigle started at SJEB then went to Penn Fusion for a couple of years before moving to PDA. Future HS choice was a big influence in the change from PF to PDA

Be fair now GA is a difficult platform. Other GA clubs in NJ have similar challenges as SJEB.

PDA South will no doubt attract some of the top kids from neighbouring GA clubs (SJEB) and also EDP (Real). Maybe not now but it’s going to happen just because of the name and the platform.
