So you're standing over them when their typing replies on their phones or computers? Get a life.

These managers/coaches wouldn't make this kind of money back home.
Bingo! You hit the nail on the head. Any only in the US can they fool folks with bull feedback to take your money. The issue is the parents just don’t know any better. In Europe or SA you can either play or not and that’s that. You can’t buy a spot like here, just so mommy and daddy can brag that their Johnny and Mia play for academy XYZ.

Of course there are more bad parents than bad coaches. There are MORE parents than coaches after all! Wise guy.

You would be amazed how many of these posts are being made by coaches. These scumbags do nothing but try to manipulate.

If it wasn’t for these “scumbags” your kid would be playing in the street or video games, we are lucky to have the top coaching talent here from overseas so have some RESPECT.

Most coaches from overseas and from here are really bad. Screaming idiots on the sidelines. Never taught the right way to coach.

Most of the coaches are relying on league badges and club rep to recruit and aggregate talent. Very little actual instruction is happening, especially on girls side of the game.

Very true and very sad actually. Developing talent is not a core competency for coaching, but recruiting talent developed elsewhere definitely is. Just the name of the game today, why develop what you have in ECNL when you can just steal all the top players from GaL.
GAL develops all the talent and ECNL swoops in and steals in away.

Top international coaching talent doesn't come here - they coach abroad where their skills are compensated and respected. The ones that come here either can't find work at home, or they're really young and want to party in the US for a few years.

Cmon we’ve had a heavy inflow of GAL talent into our ECNL team and they must have been developed somewhere no?

Correct! Long line of developing top level players but sad that ECNL has to swoop in and continually steal them.
