I'm friends with RT and although we are not close, I can confirm that he has said he really doesn't care about these older teams. He feels they aren't motivated and he doesn't have time to waste on kids who don't go the extra mile with outside training. Hes said to me several times these kids aren't talented and Hope's they leave come the fall.

His 07 team is the NJX Spirit. They became Match Fit when NJX merged last summer. They're a 2nd or 3rd division EDP level team. They've lost girls to multiple clubs over the years as well as their original coach. Their ranking, as most of us know isn't indicative to their quality as a good team. Comparing them to CSA GA isn't fair based on ranking because CSA doesn't play in a league or in enough EDP sanctioned tournaments to accumulate points. If these 2 teams played CSA would most likely win by a large margin.

Looks like they played 26 games since Aug. won 9, drew 7, lost 10. Facts are hard to argue. You can argue that you’d want a better record then that. But you can’t argue they are one of the worst teams in the state.

Lol... I was approached by one of the parents from this team about bringing my daughter over to play goalie. Seems the parents and coach can't stand the current ones father. Heard hes a real kiss ass, likes to stir up trouble among the parents, justina real pain in the ass. I turned down the offer, wished them luck, but have no desire to be around such a toxic environment. Heard he also runs the teams Instagram page and the only reason is because he busted the coaches chops enough that he just told him to do it so he'd leave the coach alone. Sad thing is, this ******* father is destroying his kids soccer career.
