He’s clearly an idiot.They aren’t even playing and he puts a kid up on a pedestal, while downplaying every other player on the 09 team. It’s so shortsighted and displays really poor judgement. I would love to know how that was OK’d by the parents and even RT.

Pitting player vs player is standard at some clubs other than MFA - FC Stars for example. It's one way to get the best players who are also mentally tough. Horrible for team chemistry. Abusive at this age.

Totally agree and abusive is the right word for how MF has treated the kids on the 09 team from running them into the ground with tournaments to grow the club to bullying four of the girls who got them to where they are. Now they want to send messages about who they feel the best kids are remaining and it’s going to backfire if it hasn’t already.

My kid (and myself) would never agree to that kind of post. She would feel that it would make her teammates feel less than her or not good enough or that she was better. As a team player she knows that kind of mentality can destroy a team. That post is a direct example of a toxic environment.
