Because PDA controls the badges in our state and MO is on the board. White isn’t very good either at most ages. Really one 1 team belongs- blue. In other states they have similar issues, FC stars for examples- blue belongs, white does not. Goes back to the fact that yes there are standout ECNL teams but they are limited to those that make the playoffs and finals- the rest are just like the others. It’s the same with GA and USYS. Facilities, club growth, licensed coaches, club structure, the ability to produce national pool/team players and pro players, winning regional/national youth championships. Great history/track record of college players having success at the next level. All reasons they are in the ECNL and application was approved. What club does your D play for? You sound like a little bitch complaining/hating. You can always get your club to apply ECNL or GA. PDA north blue. A few former practice players from north are now at your club. I’m sorry but PDA South just doesn’t belong. We both know that. Not worth arguing until they get top talent, good coaches and win consistently at least 4 games a season in 3 ages groups for 2 years. Ridding the backs of a team (Ajax) that is long gone hardly makes an entire club ECNL worthy. Most of that team weren't developed at PDA South and during the NPL years the top players did some double duty with PDA North. The entire world can see just how unready PDA South is for ECNL. As the next poster said, South took a few bench players from North. Great point. Which is what brings us the fact that its not about the league, it's about the team, coach. The colleges know the bottom teams and don't bother to even look during showcases because they are so limited on time. Because there still are teams as bad as South if not worse. There are a few good GAL clubs that could be added to strengthen it also. No way a club like Stars or PDA loses their 2nd teams. They're too powerful and the 2nd teams were rewards for sticking with ECNL. Leagues need teams, thats why PDA South is in ECNL. It could have gone to another club but the reality is it does not matter. If people want their kid to play ECNL, they can try out for an ECNL team instead of complaining that their club wasn't invited to the party.Comment

Since ECNL is club based and not team then no club can be removed as long as South is still in. Sure every club not called PF or PDA Blue might have a few teams or even half a club in the bottom 3rd they still perform overall better club wise then South. I can't see why North would want South in ECNL instead of RL. They lost access to what few good players North would have used back in the NPL days and lost a chance to toss players they wanted to look at but not sold on onto a team with future broken promises of one day you may get to Blue speech.Originally posted by Guest View PostComment
