Drive 3 hours each way to play 30 minutes is not giving you enough playing time or opportunities to learn. that can wait till people learn 11v11 a year without the large rosters. Those same kids who rush to MLS at u13 get replaced by better kids at u14.

Also, The Mid Atlantic conference teams isn’t exactly just “local EDP” teams. They are pulling from NJ, NY, PA, DE. Just because you attach “MLS” to a team name it doesn’t make them
magically better. Some of the top 2010 NJ teams this year not in the MLS league have played in friendlies vs the MLS teams and ECNL teams and both beat them and tied them all with their inferior rosters and training and league games. 3 letters don’t make you superior.
The rosters will always be large regardless of league. If you are In a low roster in EDP 11v11 I am sure it has to do with the club not pulling enough kids not development.

Low roster more likely means the coach wants to maximize playing time for the players. Anyone can just sign more players to have more money in their pocket. What’s the point of having 18 kids and 7 on the bench watching. They will be 12. It’s all about playing time.

That's bull****, there are teams that just can't pull enough kids. They have to move kids up for games. STA, PDA, CSA Bergen do it all the time for their 2nd and 3rd 2010 teams. There are EDP clubs that just don't have enough kids and they play with what they got.

you can’t just make things up when the rosters are public knowledge.

PDA has a full roster for 2010 at MLS. They also have a full roster for ECNL. This is all visable
for everyone to see in the league websites. Also you can’t just bring players up in those leagues. it’s a set roster. They have 26 kids rostered for the ECNL team. That’s not being short kids.

STA has 20 kids in their ECNL team and you can see the roster.

STA have 23 rostered in their ECRL B team. They also can’t just pull people up like you imply.
STA also has a full roster of too many kids on their 3rd USYS roster.

tons of money grabs with high number rosters.

That STA team has at least two 2011s lol I can see the roster. And I was talking about the the 2nd and 3rd teams for ECRL and EDP. But even ECNL has 2011s.

Both pda and sta weekly move 3-4 kids between their A and B rosters. Sta ecnl also has kids play for the sta mt olive e64 team every game.

Those are the kids of terrible parents who badger coaches until the cave and give their kid extra playing time on different teamsto shut up the parents. Their roster sizes are over 20. They don’t need to move players around because they are short players. Their ECNL and RL rosters are published.

The coaches move kids around because they have too many players per teams. At 2011 they are still 9v9 so they need to push the extra kids to the glorious B and C 2010 teams. That STA ECNL roster has at least 2 2011 kids. CSA is known for their pre-academy II sales pitch. The C and D team is called pre academy II lol

They just moved to different brackets for whatever reasons. Possibly travel related maybe?

CSA Bergen demolished CSA Monmouth this weekend. CSA Monmouth team 2 is an absolute joke. No way those kids stay there if this is an MLS next club

Yes, Team 1 is much better than team 2. CSA Monmouth problem now is that there's a big talent gap. Pretty common in all other clubs. There won't be a gap like this for u13, kids will get cut just like other clubs.

It seems like CSA has a ton of teams at the 2011 level, 2 NEAL, 3 EDP (bergen, monmouth, newark)...feels like they are getting ready to combine for 2 MLS next teams with the 3rd level going to EDP maybe for 11v11

you need 16 fully committed players for an 11v11 team. The trick is "fully committed"
