I actually went to the game. The kid is skilled but overall not a team player. he just tried to dribble everyone most of the time and was double teamed and would eventually lose the ball. Might even hurt the team more than help.

So surprised nothing being said aboit Union this season its also weired they have only 2 games played. Guess to busy playing as CSA monmouth 2010 B and also playing up 11v11 against bad 2009 teams they cant fit games in

They are winning playing 2 yrs up 11v11. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me, I am not an Union parent either. They are exposing how poorly developer these academy teams are. Their 2009 C teams don't mean a thing to these clubs. Imagine if Union recruiter top kids, it's game over.

How about winn8ng your own age? Why is impressive winning 2 ages up vs low end team? It would be more impressive winning games in the top flight of there own age there are 0-2 on the season with 4 goals scored and 14 given up is that impressive? Some teams in there flight have played 6 games they have played 2 why?

Winning vs low level B teams 2 years older 15 flights down from competent teams is not showing devlopment or impressive. That’s stroking your ego to make up for the lack of results against teams your own age. Looks like they are trying to hide the fact that a team that was once very good at their own age group is being passed by everyone else who is actually developing while they are going backwards.

LOL, not just 2 games. I looked at their entire body of work for the spring so far..

Not just 2 games at 2011. They also have been losing this spring to 2010 B teams - lost to Beachside B team 5-4, lost to NYSC B team 8-3, lost to Gottschee B team 5-1. Lost to 2010 NESA team 5-2, lost to 2010 Match Fit Mercer team 5-2. Plus the 2 games at their own age.. Lost to 2011 A teams - Red Bull south 7-1, lost to 2011 A team - STA 7-3. That’s a lot of development right there. Keep believing the “development” lies you are fed. The only development is a losing culture and crying to the ref.
