asking for my son who will tryout for U10 team next year; at present he is playing for one of the mls next academies and seeing good improvement since he joined this fall.

Appreciate if you can provide pros and cons of joining RB pre-academy team
If you are an hour + away from Red Bulls and also playing at a MLS Next academy already you have to be at CSA Monmouth. I would Stay put. Heard great things about the new young coaches they brought in this year. Probably the best facility in the state and the indoor portion opening soon, good young coaches and playing in the same divisions and leagues as the Red Bulls teams with no commute seems like a no brainer.

          They tied 1-1.

I know that there are some people here who do not like the way Bloomfield but they earn my respect for hanging in a tough league with very tough opponents. They showed they belong as far as I am concerned. Good for them. And to tie Cedar Stars and only lose to FA and Red Bull...that is pretty good.

Absurd..definitely Bloomfield Punt and Run dad. Rec soccer teams don’t even play that horrible. Not sure what Kind of respect you are expecting or looking for. You are ruining your own players soccer IQ and development.

I hate kick and run but it's a bigger problem when the fancy academy club coach can't problem solve to win against this type of predictable tactic. It's the coach's fault for losing the game to a type of team that plays like this. Hopefully the CSA coach holds himself accountable for this result and doesn't grill the kids.

Also town travel teams play the worst soccer possible. I am not talking about the Unions or the Bloomfields of the world but actual town travel teams. Half the kids can't receive a ball or make a pass, let alone have the fitness required to be athletically competitive. Most of these kids look like they sit on the couch all day eating Doritos and the parents think dropping them off at town soccer practice is the answer to their fitness problem.

Actually no, my son might be playing for FA so I was at the game. Bloomfield played well. Played out of the back very nicely actually. Did not really just kick out of the back like many people on here say. They have some very good players and created chances. Got unlucky on a few calls that could have been offsides. You can say what you want cause it does not matter to me either way but that is the truth.

Agreed. How come the coaches of these teams that "play the right way" can't find a way to beat a team that just kick out of the back. That is a problem.

You must be an AS Junior Elite dad then. Who else would try to be so negative about one team. Lose every game, give up 10 goals a game. Yep, definitely AS Junior Elite dad.

Yup!! You couldn’t tell the difference.. you know why?? FA been playing Long Balls this season. FA and Bloomfield are on the same boat. I get it! You can’t be a hypocrite and criticize Bloomfield since FA been playing the same. Kick and run to win. This kind of soccer will be expired soon.
