In some ways yes and some ways no. It us impressive that their coach could take a bunch of kids from the same town and bring them to the highest level and finish in the top 3. Got to give that respect.

Are they all from the same town though? I doubt it. Similar to the claims of Union being a town team, yet 3/4 of the roster is from outside Union. Years ago town teams had restrictions and one of the requirements was that you lived in town. That is no longer the case in most places. The whole "town team" monkier is tired. All the teams are on the same page with the same rules.

CSA winter select had a big try out, are a lot of folks moving to different clubs for winter training? Or is this the start of people positioning for NEAL clubs?

Red Bull will go from 3 teams of approximately 10 each down to 1 team of 22. They will bring in close to 10 new kids to the mix. About 15 of those current Red Bull players will be looking for a new team come late spring. Do they all go rushing to NEAL teams? I don't think there needs to be any rush to those NEAL teams for next year. As they currently sit, they are so much weaker overall compared to the top flights of EDP.

Even half the NY teams in the NEAL make that league look more like a travel league compared to EDP. Does everyone seriously just start switching teams? At the 2010 age group currently which is the stronger division to play in? NEAL or EDP?

Keep in mind this tryout was for the winter program, to gauge the departures from EDP - NEAL we would need to see what happens at tryouts in the Spring for next year.

CSA 2010 A team is solid, Monmouth is a mess so not worth mentioning lol idk about TSF 2010 but they keep recruiting.

Bloomfield only has one player from outside the area.

Red Bull is not about winning or developing.
They look to find 2-4 kids with talent. Everyone else is and will be disposable
