The "weak bottom 5" as you called them punted the majority of the time and tried to play long balls... with AS Junior and STA punting the ball away the most that I have seen. No surprise they are the bottom 2 teams. Maybe you are correct in your assessment that a long ball kick and run style is not good, but you are just naming the incorrect teams that play that style?

This is not about the boys, this is more about you and living your dreams through your child.

If you have ever read this thread you would know that NO team gets any respect except maybe CSA who spent 2 years at the top in order to get some amount of praise. Some people kiss the RB ring and at the same time bash them for how they grind up players. Even FA is getting bashed now for “not being the same” and they just won the state cup.
Bloomfield has a long way to get respect and trying to manufacture it by pointing out useless stats is just sorry. Your like the guy on the corner twirling a Bloomfield soccer club sing, trying to get people to notice.
Keep in mind the stat you indicated is also bluster by the fact that Bloomfield played more games than most teams. How about they enter a competitive tournament or an indoor tournament over the winter.
I’ll give you a little credit in that you had a nice fall and maybe surprised a few people (maybe crept up). Certainly in the NJ youth soccer environment you could just be a blip on the 2021 screen. Let’s see if the players are there next season or the success continues.

Glad you are making yourself feel better and your positive attitude lets you sleep at night. Playing good soccer and having skilled kids on the team usually goes hand in hand with winning and gives you at least some wins, not just losses.
You can't sit there and say it's about building a team, but have your kid's team get destroyed in every game. And I can guarantee you, as much as YOU keep such a positive attitude, there will be parents and kids leaving if the team keeps losing. That's the reality.
Oh and sorry if someone feels happy for their child's team winning games, I'm sure you would, too.

yes agreed..FA dropped like a rock. Yes they coming back to wining but that won’t last long. I have seen them play over the years, certainly recently they changed their style and focus primarily on long balls. I would love to see Bloomfield play indoor tournament, but that will never happen. They don’t have the skill to play in tight places.
