That's perfectly fine, but they are shocked when the team loses 10-0 to a team from the top flight. I think people get too invested in this stuff for their own good.
Especially for kids this young. Somuch changes in middle school it isn't even funny. It's more likely their kid won't even be laying by highschool, let alone on a high level team and even less so making it onto a college roster

What a buffon - almost 175,000 views on this, the board's most popular thread that started with a ranking of u10 teams. Move along sir, you will be ok.

NY Red Bulls Academy South > NY Red Bulls Academy NY > NY Red Bulls Academy North

You can make an argument for NY/South, but the North Red Bull team is a step below the other two. South has already played against the other 2 teams and beat both of them.

Let me guess, your oldest is in this age group? You have no idea how unimportant all of this is. Revisit this thread when your kid enters high school. If they're even playing by then (many won't be) you'll be embarrassed at how you carried on.

EDP was a fun tournament and they did a pretty good job of ranking teams in the right flight. So many teams to keep up with. I must say Barca was ranked too high and should have been replaced with Liverpool. Top flight was good and Bergen should have won. The field conditions due to the weather is the reason they didn’t win but it’s all part of the game. The gold flight was very competitive and well matched. STA must have the dirtiest players in that flight. Many plays were a bit much, a lot of pulling jerseys and late kicks. Parents seem to ignore the way they play and blame the refs. World Class was solid but had 2 players that cursed his teammates out when they messed up, shouldn’tbe tolerated. Also the parents must be the most annoying with the chants, I understand cheering for your children but they were just too much. Union looked good and could have gone unbeaten but just unlucky with getting ties. I do believe that PDA is a bit overrated but they did manage to go unbeaten in a tough flight and win it. Overall good soccer with the weather that was given.

and very fair JFF ranking although I think Football academy is overrated and PSA elite is underrated

                      Dumbest comment of the week....

Blaming field conditions for the result of a game

Mentinoning teams that could have gone undeafted but couldn't win a single game because of luck

Blaming the parents for the noise

Calling a team overrated even though they won their flight

I hope you are not giving your kid soccer advice because you are a dumb ass...

From the JFF team: Thanks for the feedback. We always like rational feedback for the Just For Fun ranking. The FA Black has consistently finished first or second in top flight EDP (even going back to U7/U8 Centercourt) play and either wins or get to the final of each high level tournament. In our opinion, yes they deserve to be #1, #2 or #3. In our humble opinion, CSA Bergen's level of play and results have propelled them to the #1 spot. Also, we really like what PSA Princeton Elite has quitely done. Our opinion is however is that we need to see more of that excellent play vs teams above them in the top 15. The Roxbury and YMS Columbus Cup wins are great, but do not hold up vs the level of competition in the top 3, even 5 flights of the EDP, maybe the Explorer Cup. We are watching the NJ State Cup where they have done very well and that puts them right at the cusp of the top 10. If PSA Princeton Elite can knock off MFA Blue in the state cup and win the Princeton Cup vs teams like the mixed group FA Silver, MFA Blue and MFA Black, then we have something. But at this point from #13 STA Pre ECNL, #12 CSA Bergen II and #10 Bloomfield Barcelona and moving up the ladder through the Top 10, we don't see PSA Princeton Elite as underrated. JFF agrees they are a very good team top 15 team. That tells you alot about the level of play from 2011 teams in the top 15 and from top 30 in this age group.

STA is quickly becoming the new Union…dirty, rough play, perpetuated by clueless parents who are overpaying for a coach to teach rugby 3 days a week.

Why are the GotSoccer rankings so different? They have FA #1 and CSA Bergen #15.. that’s not at all what you guys posted
