2 top teams that are well coached. It don’t matter who wins, winning 1 game doesn’t make 1 side better than the other. Regardless of the uneducated people on here. Soccer is a marathon not a little run or 1 game. There are leagues and tournaments to show who is currently better. For sure though, tomorrow will be different. If you are smart enough- you will eventually catch on. But for now- the sad news it doesn’t look like it!

Not sure what the strategy is there. They need speed up top as well to outrun FA. Either way, good luck to both. Beautiful day for a game mid week.

You need fast players out wide (RW, LW, LB, RB) striker doesn’t have to be super fast (needs to be coin , CM doesn’t have to be fast (strong, Vision, Good passer, good footwork) also the Goalie doesn’t need to be fast. Bloomfield and Union are the only 2 town teams. Their coaches don’t make money (like your academies do) the coach won’t just add anyone unless they believe they will bring value to their team. At academies (you know this) they are really add lower level boys for their parents money. It’s part of their business Model! Hope this was educational :)

might not be true or applicable with every team. But you clearly see a lot more of it at academy level. That’s the point I am made. and to be fair, me personally- I have never seen a low level player on RB team.

FA will win comfortably doesn't mean Union isn't a good team. this matchup might look different in 3-4 years. but as of today will be one sided

I guess it’s who you know… either way, non parent coaches are paid. Also, if anyone takes weaker, less skilled kids, it’s Union. Maybe they don’t charge the hefty price tag, but they take anyone. There is no such thing as a try out. You show up and you’re in. Of course, maybe with the exception of the better teams. With the 2011 boys they have 4 teams. I heard one of the super y teams had 21 players. My nephews academy team has 12 players. So who is collecting? $$$

they couldn’t find enough dedicated 1st team kids to they recruited, begged and called every mother in the Nj area trying to get kids to help them.
