2 top teams that are well coached. It don’t matter who wins, winning 1 game doesn’t make 1 side better than the other. Regardless of the uneducated people on here. Soccer is a marathon not a little run or 1 game. There are leagues and tournaments to show who is currently better. For sure though, tomorrow will be different. If you are smart enough- you will eventually catch on. But for now- the sad news it doesn’t look like it!

Not sure what the strategy is there. They need speed up top as well to outrun FA. Either way, good luck to both. Beautiful day for a game mid week.
It sounds like Liverpool was just faster than FA, PDA is faster than Liverpool, Union is faster the AS Junior, RB are faster than Union. I get it speed one of the factors. You need fast players out wide (RW, LW, LB, RB) striker doesn’t have to be super fast (needs to be coin , CM doesn’t have to be fast (strong, Vision, Good passer, good footwork) also the Goalie doesn’t need to be fast. Bloomfield and Union are the only 2 town teams. Their coaches don’t make money (like your academies do) the coach won’t just add anyone unless they believe they will bring value to their team. At academies (you know this) they are really add lower level boys for their parents money. It’s part of their business Model! Hope this was educational :)

Do you think the Red Bull’s add lower skilled players for money? Maybe, considering this is the last year of pre academy and the don’t charge for academy. The 2011 NY team was down to 7 or 8 players and have been using guest players for their games. They probably should have added more than 10 to each team.

I am calling out a specific team or academy, Just high level Idea of academies. This
might not be true or applicable with every team. But you clearly see a lot more of it at academy level. That’s the point I am made. and to be fair, me personally- I have never seen a low level player on RB team.

Yes and No.. RB are special- for one reason! They get a **** load of players to try out. Since the RB is a brand like we all know. They actually have the opportunity to pick the best of the best.

FA will win comfortably doesn't mean Union isn't a good team. this matchup might look different in 3-4 years. but as of today will be one sided
One is a top team another one just cares about getting gotsoccer points while hiding from embarrassment.

I don’t know why everyone thinks that union coaches don’t get paid. Parents are technically not allowed to coach their kids teams, of course there are a handful of exceptions which is what we have with the 2011 blue team, and a couple others. I guess it’s who you know… either way, non parent coaches are paid. Also, if anyone takes weaker, less skilled kids, it’s Union. Maybe they don’t charge the hefty price tag, but they take anyone. There is no such thing as a try out. You show up and you’re in. Of course, maybe with the exception of the better teams. With the 2011 boys they have 4 teams. I heard one of the super y teams had 21 players. My nephews academy team has 12 players. So who is collecting? $$$

Makes no sense whatsoever.. if they just took anyone look you are saying, they wouldn’t have been the hottest topic on this thread. What teams do we usually dispute about in here? Only the best competitive teams..right? I don’t recall anyone bringing up low quality teams on here (Or that’s wrong?) I get it- it’s hard for you to admit it! Continue being a hypocrite, self denial!

Honest question, if the team that hides is so good why did the EDP not place it on the top bracket on the EDP Cup. 1) Coach requested not to be on that flight or 2) EDP knows the ranking is artificial and didn't think they deaerved to ge on the flight. Honestly all #1/2 teams in NJ/NY/PA should have formed the top flight. I see Barca Academy being ranked very and still not on the top flight. EDP should place teams based on rankings.

they couldn’t find enough dedicated 1st team kids to they recruited, begged and called every mother in the Nj area trying to get kids to help them.
How do you know this? I think all their players are the same players they have always had four years. They are just a little town team. I think you have to give them credit to be where they are and to have won a game already.
