I think they are referring to the fact that Union SC vs AS Junior Elite was originally scheduled for the prior week. Someone previously stated on here, most likely just a rumor, that Union did not play AS Junior Elite to play in some crummy tournament vs older, yet much weaker, competition.

jr elite- prob the best coaches in the area. Teaches the kids respect and how to play

also, remember that U11 and U12 is pretty much the end of the "scrappy little team" narrative, aka AS Junior and Union. After that, the kids have to go to one of the large money-making clubs if they want to progress and have the highest level of competition, or go to an MLS academy for free if they are good enough. That's the ridiculous pay to play system we're in. Or there's always high school soccer I guess.

Ok FA dad!! Everyone is terrible, CSA is failing, Union is not a good team- since they lost 1 player, STA is not very good and too slow…
is that how you evaluate teams- based on speed.

let me educate you- Soccer is a strategy game, requires vision, team work, speed and agility, requires skill. It’s a beautiful game. Unfortunately in our country, most parents like your self are delusional and think soccer is just speed. Figo, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, (we’re these speedy demons) on the contrary they played soccer through their skill and vision on the field. Apparently you only think FA is the only good team. I think everyone is giving the Red Bull coaches a little too much credit here thinking they are teaching some technical high pressure strategy. The reality is th Red Bulls recruit highly driven, highly skilled agressive players. Naturally these kids want the ball and they hate to lose. Add the fact that they are some of the best 1v1 players in state in combination with their athleticism you have a team full of sharks. This isn't the Red Bulls teaching this, in fact if you watch their games most of the times the kids want to do it all on their own and they don't care about ball movement. Smaller weaker teams like Union, AS etc.. Can't handle the speed, size or their 1v1 ability. While Union and AS play the game the right way, they just don't have the physical and athletic talent pool at this age group to deal with that type of pressure. When the players hit puberty, size and speed will even out and then you will see who is really a top player possessing great IQ, vision, technique and understanding of the game. For now the fast, large, and agressive teams will have the upper hand.
