There were 4 total teams for 2011 in the US Club soccer state cup! You must be carded through US Club soccer to enter. This is not the normal USYS state cup that attracts lots of teams and all the good competition. It is a small version with very few teams so those teams can claim they are "state cup champs". Rancocas Valley are from the 3rd flight of the South Jersey Soccer League. They lost to Torpedoes 2-8. Torpedoes are from the 2nd North Jersey Flight in EDP. The other semi final was Match Fit Academy Howard winning 3-0 by FORFEIT over Union SC Selecao because Union didn't have the proper carding. Literally the only thing you need to enter the tournament, they didnt have.

Think North and South is just location based for the most part. They have different training locations. South is at Hillsborough, NJ and North is at Ramapo, NY.

What a joke, Ironbound/PDA/STA there? Never heard of Foundation, are they new and plugged right into the A flight? What is the Red Bulls NY vs NJ, I guess CSA didn't want 2 teams in the top flight this year, their II team drops down from 1st to 3rd after finishing 3rd in the top flight

Foundation, Ironbound, STA and Vistula in the top flight looks wrong

Future, Passaic, Summit and PSA north in the B flight looks wrong too

Hoboken in the C flight looks very wrong

Elite Plainfield and Kearney in the D flight look wrong (both should be higher)

Torpedoes in the top championship flight looks wrong (should be higher)

These should get fixed before EDP finalizes.

Interesting to see some teams missing like Bloomfield, Liverpool and Espanyol. Didn’t even see them in any of the flights. I feel for the coaches and parents. Also where is PDA blue. I am not sure why people are shocked STA made to the top flight. STA has a good 2011 team and they hold their weight.
