USL started an Academy League which will compete with ECNL for the 2nd most desirable league behind the MLS next league. That league lists 4 teams from NJ in the northeast division.

Cedar Stars Academy (not sure if Bergen/Monmouth or a different branch)
Ironbound SC (Red Bulls)
Morris Elite
FC Copa

This board and age group is moving past the Unions and Liverpool type teams at this point. Yes, no one likes them, but be honest as these kids progress to better leagues and teams lose players to other teams or other sports the EDP only teams can brag all they want about being #1 in gotsoccer.

They do not start teams. They poach entire teams from other clubs with false promises. Then a year later players start to leave when they realize it is not what they were promised. They started the satellite club by taking 3 girls and 1 boys teams from CSA Monmouth. Then they stole the girls 2011 Jersey Shore Boca team with free tuition from Toms River because they couldn't beat them. Now they have added another boys team from CSA Monmouth. Heard they are now poaching several JSU boys teams. They tried to start a 2011 boys team both last summer and this summer, but no one wanted to go there. Clown show organization top to bottom.

CSA Monmouth

So what is happening with CSA Monmouth, are they still a team? I see people saying kids left for RB's, Holmdel Surf and now Matchfit?

Can someone from the team answer if there is still a CSA Monmouth?

C'mon everyone know the north has better soccer. The south has big athletic players that make the game difficult but when it comes to skill, the north has it.

Historically i will agree the north was always the hotbed for soccer in NJ. Recently not as much. I tried to put together a list of good and recent NJ players. Minimum 50 MLS games / international experience. A lot of the good talent has come from Central and South Jersey...

Not from the team, but know what is up... there are 2 teams at CSA Monmouth, Green and White. White is returning and Green is returning, but will be totally different... They are still a team though. Green lost 7 kids that played from their top team this past spring. They lost 3 previously during the fall/winter. 10 kids gone from their Green team in 1 year. That team only had 11/12 so almost an entirely new team this year with the players they have added.
