I fully advocate for playing. As long as winning is not the ultimate goal. The main goal should be playing the correct way and developing players through good habits that are reinforced.
If the Red Bulls are playing against a team that is cutting corners in order to come up with a win at all costs, then what would be their incentive to play such teams? If they win, then fine but was it against a kick and run team? If so then the experience isnt 100% would it could have been. And if RB loses? Then we get to hear from parents on here that RB isnt that good bc they lost.
As far as RB just recruiting the best players vs. developing? This comment always makes me laugh bc it is a ridiculous statement and shows the ignorance and lack of understanding of how football works in the rest of the world. Every professional team in the world recruits local talent. This happens literally everywhere! The fact is that the Red Bulls are the professional team in the area and rightly should recruit. They have the most resources and infrastructure. As is true in professional football- There is always a bigger club out there!
Btw, I am not a Red Bull parent or in anyway affiliated with them...

Despite what many parents think playing less games is more beneficial at this age. At least to some experts.

Do you think the academy kids at La Masia are leaving every day to play pick up. Street ball/pickup has a place on the development ladder, just lower. Touches are great but it breeds too many bad habits for a structured game.

You think any serious player should trust anything US soccer does. who have they created?
Pulisic moved out of US at 16 for soccer, Serginho Dest never grew up in US. whatever they tell you at CSA or FA or RB is obviously NOT working so enjoy those cones and drills to "learn" how to play
