Which teams that played in the Parsippany tournament do you need info on?

We would prefer all results, as a full list shows how all teams performed relative to their opponents and the group. However, the JFF ranked teams at the tournament were:

Matchfit Montclair Utd
Morris Elite EDP Premier
Marlboro SA Union Blue

Former ranked teams:
Arsenal Rojas
Kearny Thistle Utd Dynamo

The JFF staff undertands your concerns and appreciates the statewide interest in the Just For Fun 2011 Rankings. We have been having Senate-level meetings discussing a week 5 list.

The issue at hand is the Parsippany Pride tournament 2011 results will not be published.
There are several ranked teams that participated. The decision at this point has been not to update the top 25 list as we do not have published results.

However, we did see shifts in the Top Ten based on the EDP Fall Cup:

3 NY Red Bulls Pre Academy Red
4 CSA Bergen White II
5 Liverpool Central
6 NY Red Bulls Pre Academy Gray
7 PDA Puyol
8 Valencia Black

Did Liverpool compete in the cup ? Or Red Bulls?

Montclair had 2 teams in the C flight - I don’t know how they did.

Morris Elite bragged on social media that they “won” so I presume they did very well.

Marlboro was in the B flight but I don’t know how they did.

Arsenal tied Kearny. I don’t know the other scores but I’d bet they beat Passaic and Parsippany easily and likely lost to Morris.

Kearny beat Cougars and Roxbury and tied Arsenal and Glen Rock.

Liverpool was not there.

So Union dissappears from the rankings but Liverpool stays? Union already beat their 2010 team 2 weeks ago in the 2010 bracket and they play the 2011s this weekend let's say if Liverpool miraculously stays above Union lol Union also tied another 2010 liverpool team 1-1 in a tournament so yeah I am going to have to say that there's no way Liverpool 201q is above Union in any Universe.

It’s all stated earlier in the thread. Union is currently ranked 11 in the 2011 rankings.
Rankings will be based On like 2011 competition.
So far in the top flight against 2011 teams Union is 1-1-1.
We do not wish to include league or tournament matches playing up in a low 2010 flight.
The next 2 opponents are The full 2011 Liv Central team (not a 2010 Mixed team) and PDA Puyol. We can circle back and discuss. Good Luck this weekend.

Liverpool does not have alot of teams they have 1 2011 team. Yes they have a central 2010 and shore 2010 team. But just cause you beat or tie them does not mean anything about there 2011 team TRUST me. I have watch Union play a couple times I feel like tomorrow game against Liverpool can go either way I feel like they match up very well and either team could win the game. I think they should be ranked like 4/5 5/6 does not matter who first or second. No way Union should be ranked were they are.

I guess the website is wrong than, it shows ASJE 2011 losing? Maybe it's b/c its listed as STA Fall Kickoff versus Columbus Cup? The posted result is below

9v9 - consolidation of players?

And when FA win at 9v9, this guy will say they cannot win at 11v11, and when they win at 11v11, this guy will say they cannot win at 13v13. In the meantime, the smart parents will send their kids to try out and the good ones will make it. If you can't beat them, join them.

So what happens next year? With this age group going to 9v9 and hence a bigger roster needed. Do the better teams swallow up the mid-level teams' better players and those mid-level teams end up losing their best players and eventually just die out or play a lower level?

It depends on the situation (team, coach, kid, parents, etc.). An exodus of players (whether from recruitment or just needing a challenge) from lower-level/township travel teams starts around 9v9 and then really kicks in at 11v11 (due to ECNL/GA/USYS) starting. Yes, some teams just fade away and some continue on at lower level appropriate to who is still on the roster).
