Let’s wait to see them play a game before we jump to conclusions

thats expected for Redbulls to have a dominant team based off there ability to attract and recruit the best of the best. But what’s the Advantage of being on redbulls if your not there top starting 9 players???

For development purposes your better off playing for pda, CSA, TSF and any other MLSnext team as a starter with quality minutes versus being just a number on redbulls.

the reality is 50% of the current kids on the 2011 redbulls teams will be cut by next spring.

Once you realize it’s just the hype the parents put into there kids mind that playing for Redbulls is the end all be all, watch the self esteem and motivation to improve off the field diminish once the kids get cut.

it’s the parents fault at the end of they day to rush these young boys from age 8-12 to play for redbulls. Being on a dominant team doesn’t translate to getting further in the soccer world. What it does it make the club look good but hurts the players.

Redbulls needs to win now not later. That’s why they don’t develop. They recruit the biggest, fastest most physical players to win today. The pull from the other clubs that are actually developing.

Are you rooting for or against a big name brand like redbulls or are you rooting for or against the children being used by this club???

The parents get more upset than the kids with lack of play time, what team there child plays for (North, south, NY etc.)

Besides a confidence booster of wearing the Red Bulls shirt and being in a select team with the best talent in the state I don't see any benefit. They don't develop anything, so yeah unfortunately they will be stacked and have the biggest and fastest kids but there's 0 development.

I've had a great experience with NYRB so far. Proper coaching, great film analysis leading to match understanding, and intense practices that keep the kids motivated and improving. Alot of what has bedn said I haven't noticed.

The 2011s aren't going over tape.

13s, 12s, 11s all go over tape from training, matches, and preseason camp sessions up at Golden Goal

This may be wrong and I certainly understand that bad coaching or bad routines can ruin things, but I'm a firm believer that the competition you train with is a big factor in the development of an individual player. If Red Bulls are able to keep attracting the top talent, seems like a good landing spot for top kids even if better development strictly from coaching is elsewhere.

Last season the 12s and 13s playing up did. They used to have assignments on their google classroom. Bottom line is all I was expressing is I've been happy with the development.

My son is on the 13s and he absolutely loves the coaches and the trainings. It also helps he is training with very talented kids that make him better.

Forget about a few day sleep over summer camp… bottom line is they do not develop kids. The best kids improve because of all the supplemental training the parents pay for on the side. 70% of all pre academy kids get replaced by U13 from the teams that actually develop!

Playing with top level kids is always great for motivation and athleticism BUT the reality will set in when the majority gets cut and the replacement kids that were just considered good years ago surpassed them due to higher soccer IQ and multi functional.

playing up is a great reward and some kids can actually hold there own playing an age level up. But that doesn’t mean it’s helping there development. Most people need a reality check in regards to what development really means. Just because your child is the fastest or scores the most for NOT mean he is being developed.
