Bloomfield 4 Red Bulls NY 1.

RB came out strong for first 15 minutes and was a bit unlucky not to have come out of it with a 2nd or 3rd goal. But Bloomfield turned around the momentum and kept it on the rest of the game. Bloomfield win seemed appropriate result, though it was closer than a 3 goal game.

Good result! Does/Did Bloomfield play the South team yet? I believe that is their top team this year.

Why are you leaving your current club?

Bloomfield is a good team, but they are no town team. They take from all over.

How do you know? I heard they only have one player outside of Bloomfield...all the others are from the original team..no?

Good result for Bloomfield…let’s see how they do next week against the NYRB South team as they are a completely different animal.

This is a fair assessment. Bloomfield intown league at the young ages played both seasons and was getting 120 -130 kids at the K -1st grade level 3-4 years ago and was cheaper option - so some neighboring towns (Nutley, Glen Ridge, Montclair) start kids there. There may be a few kids out of Bloomfield - but they started intown - only one "mercenary" as far as I know.

depends on what Red Bull NY team. I think most teams in the division would beat them if they didn’t bring in 3 players from the
South team to help them get results. How many kids who aren’t from the NY team where there vs Bloomfield. Probably not a lot and they get a proper result. Let’s not pretend the NY team is some juggernaut here unless they have better kids helping them.
