PDA is on the board that votes to allow clubs to join the ECNL. They will never allow any other New Jersey teams to join. (Example, they only voted on one team to join this year, and shocking, it was PDA South.) They will hand pick all the better players from the older CSA DA teams to fill their rosters. And based on your sarcastic post, CSA, just like many other clubs, are having issues. Things look to be hopefully changing there for the better with removing the toxic environment caused by the 09 coach. (This is where a CSA parent will write back defending him, probably saying my Suzi wasn't good enough to make his team, I'm a jealous parent, I live through my child's accomplishments, and so on....) I will say this for CSA, they seem to be one of the ONLY clubs that's going to be doing some live training when things open back up, AND are also offering a credit for the next season for the current players. Although it's not an amazing amount, the fact remains and can't be disputed, they are giving SOMETHING back. Much.more than can be said about other clubs offering no credits/refunds, no training, and have already had the nerve to ask for a deposit for the 20/21 season.

You sound like the parent standing on the sidelines at a college showcase and think your daughter is having a great showing and no schools reach out to her afterwards and you do not understand why? You think ECNL is looking to expand every year to continually grow and saturate a market (in this case NJ). That ‘s not the case at all they want to be exclusive. What they have to figure out is take the clubs that perform badly and place them in a lower league and fight to get to the first flight. They will not get rid of those clubs but rather demote those clubs. Not adding more clubs that totally defeats the purpose. ECNL has turned down FC Virginia, Tophat & NEFC. All 3 clubs are far superior to any other club in NJ and you think in your mind that CSA Monmouth is worthy. Not happening.

To each their own you have your opinion and opinions vary...I guarantee you most of the people you ask tell you CSA Monmouth is one of the best clubs in NJ.

Sorry bud better than solid, one of the best. Why do they always get the short end of the stick?

Far from a solid club, but trying to navigate through the waters just like everyone else. Hopefully with getting rid of the toxic environment caused by the 09 coach, and the addition of a couple of new coaches/trainers, they can turn things around for the better. Only time will tell...

NEFC is wedged between Scorpions & FC Stars. Neither will allow them to bite off from both of their clubs. Same with CSA & STA in NJ with PDA & Match Fit. In CT Oakwood is 15 minutes from FSA.

With the old NE conference at 9/9 I could see it eventually going to 10/10 but you’d need clubs that have their own territory, which is hard to find. Geographically, I’d say Seacoast (NH), & NYSC as possibilities.

Your still not understanding. The philosophy of ECNL is to have the top players move to an existing ECNL club. They have no interest to further expand with a new club. They need to drop some ECNL Clubs to a new second division not add a new club. If they would add new then Tophat, FCV, NEFC are way ahead CSA Monmouth. Those players can now go to the 3rd PDA team. It’s location, location, location.

There will be no local clubs getting into ECNL for the foreseeable future. We’re pretty good for now.

I think ECNL needs to hold the existing clubs accountable. The same clubs year after year do nothing to improve their clubs and there teams to make them competitive. Coming in at the bottom year after year defeats the original purpose of ECNL which was supposed to make sure when clubs travel to play matches it’s competitive and worth the trip. If I am driving to MA, NY, PA, CT to play matches they shouldn’t be 5-0. It has gotten to the point that ECNL should have 2 divisions and those existing clubs at the bottom should be moved down to the second division.

I always read posts like this, but what people fail to realize is the teams/clubs that are on the "bottom' of ECNL standings are still better than the majority of teams/clubs that are the top anywhere else. Show me a club that is on a top level, Nationally, across multiple age groups and I'll give it to you. But those are far and few in between...

Crack kills buddy. My kids are in ECNL. There are really bad teams and clubs for the last couple of years. Definitely the best league by far now.
