Naw I get it and you certainly don't have to say what team your kid plays for. No need for that because all you will have is a bunch of adults taking shots at another group of young aspiring young "LADIES" to be. It's a shame that you feel that way but you should also add the "caps" ENVY to your list because that's basically what you are doing. You are envious of those young kids and for what....really you have no reason other than your kids doesn't maybe play for them. Partner don't worry because your kid is strong enough to make it without your support and happiness for where she is now. No I wouldn't say that it was humble pie but just a day almost over a year ago that they weren't at their best. That's really it to be honest. Well again enjoy "your" humble pie......whatever that taste like but keep it real with yourself and just know that ENVIOUS doesn't look sexy on anyone my friend.

Agree. In fact, I bet 9/10 of time times PDA beats that Barca team by at least 3 goals. Barca was heard as they boarded their plane ride home (en Espanol) "I can't believe we won that game. That team was so good, so big and so strong, I'm pretty certain a few of them were wearing jocks."

At some point in time my kid and I were watching ECNL finals and GDA finals on youtube/facebook. The differences in style were pretty much the same as in the Barca game.

GDA: Playing out back, being patient, passing and moving.
ECNL: Punting the ball, trying to win the 50-50, always pressing.

A successful adult team will know how to play both styles, but perhaps not at that age group. Only one of those styles requires real soccer skill IQ and training, the other depends on the physical strength and ability to have a deep bench of bodies.

Will SJEB get ECNL by next year? Only real responses please no bs stuff. Trying to determine best path stick around or go now. Thanks for your feedback

No inside info, but following this along based on past actions I would say no as PDA South grabbed a spot.

Ok thanks, I guess it would be prudent to make alternate plans, just impossible to do in this environment.

2nd what was said. SJEB could/would never get ECNL bid. PDA North has a LONG history of poaching their youth talent. If you were looking for ECNL you best bets are Delco, Bucks and PDA South depending on your location and talent level of your kid. PF would be the top option if you were willing to have your kid play on the 2nd team as PF doesn't usually have outside players replace their own unless they are a superstar. Training wise though PF is most likely the better option. PDA South is going to be a free for all with girls who were traveling to Delco and Bucks looking to move closer and a good number from local SJ clubs looking to move up.

Thanks for the info, even though we are CSA not SJEB, helpful to know of other options nonetheless. A bit of a trip to these clubs but then again we have girls coming from 1hr+ or longer to us now so it can be done if worth it.

If you are at CSA and want ecnl, then your options are pda north, south, and matchfit. I guess I could see a club or two getting ecnr, but PDA is going to use at least this cycle (and probably more) to poach all of the top talent and leave what's left for gda clubs like CSA. It just depends on where you live, but my guess is it's going to be a free for all at those the clubs, so if you have any connections (such as your kid trained with the coach of a team you're interested in), then you might want to make those calls.

That’s the loser CSA Monmouth 09 team. Searching for that U11 national championship! Like anyone will remember in 2 years.

This team basically is the flagship team for CSA, I don’t think they have any other teams that are as good. The club should give credit where it’s due.

Dude, you really need to stop with this. Go back to your CSA thread and brag about the 09 team. The team is ok, not their top team. Not going to sit here and debate you, I have a life. Just saying, enough with this horse ****. Start your own thread and post as much as you want about how amazing you giirls team is. Everyone seems have their own opinion on the team, and then theirs yours. Next time you get together with your team, you could all stand around and tell each other stories about how awesome you are. Untill them, no one on this thread cares...
