If you want to be a benchwarmer on an ECNL team - there is the Match Fit Crew that is willing to take your money as they are anywhere between 22-28 players. Someone needs to pay DB money so he can make 120K a year for coaching 2 teams.
Because top level Cali and TX teams only keep good players for the high level teams,. They have a good amount of plug in kids that are equally talented. You don't find that on many NE teams. The level of play is so vast on the same team.

And really the coaches should know better, so I assume any coach who wants to see what 12 year olds are doing on instagram is up to no good.
      Sounds pretty creepy.

Yes cascading order. PDA gives Bs to STA gives Bs to Matchfit.

        So Matchfit gets the bottom

Did STA really take Shawn Cryer on as their Girls DOC? Why Tim why?

Irrespective of his well discussed (and apparently well documented in video lol) antics that have been discussed at length here and elsewhere, digest this fact: For HS graduating class 2019, seven (7) D1 commits have come through (and listed) on Top Drawer Soccer as Stallions kids yes 7. Just to give perspective, WCFC has 3, MFA 21 and PDA 25. So if Cryer can put out more than twice the number of kids WCFC does and basically a third of the kids a known ECNL level club does with him only having an EDP badge at what we'd say is a small club, what can he do at a large club like STA offering development academy.

There's your answer...and please don't belabor his behavior we know that already, it's about the numbers above that don't lie. And oh BTW, that doesn't include him bringing up one of (if not the) best player in NJ MK, who yes is gone to CSA Monmouth now but certainly has her roots at some level with Cryer.

Why would you name players on a soccer chat forum? A coach is an adult so go ahead but a kid? You better be her parent but even then, dumb unless you enjoy seeing a kid get raked over the coals on a chat forum. Maybe she will be spared as no one seems to read the NJ forum.

Oh boy...Mr K why would you do that? Now we’re all going to say how much of a nut you are too. Geez, no wonder why teams won’t let your kid play for them. Yes we know about
The emails saying thanks, but no thanks

The joke is on people that believe that Match Fit Class of 2019 was developed at Match Fit. Only 1 of the top 25 girls was at Match Fit 2 years ago! Rest came from STA/Crush/Stallions/SDFC/PSA.

                    a) If you want to leverage Match Fit for what they do best (showboating and marketing), join Match Fit at U15-U17. If your current team does not showcase in front of good D1, you will do better at Match Fit. It takes 3-4 games for a good external player to establish a starting spot at Match Fit. The bar is _low_. Sucks for the players that have been with Match Fit for 4-5 years when they are sent to NPL/ECNL Regional squad.

                    b) Aforementioned clubs are sick and tired of bleeding their players to ECNL clubs that dont really do much development but hold monopoly on showcases. With GDA the tables are turning slowly. GDA showcases, games, and mini showcases (as the one hosted by Penn Fusion) attract the top college coaches and US Scouts. Is a college scholarship or ticket to Ivy league worth passing on HS? How about being on a roster of 18 instead of 26, or having trainers that develop kids instead of having endless scrimmages during practice?

Amen. Just goes to show how corrupt youth soccer is in NJ. The ECNL carrot brings kids in even when the parents know what kind of organization Matchfit is

This sounds like a STA admin who is trying way too hard to build up their numbers

Sounds like an overpaid Match Fit coach who gets a bonus for registering 30+ kids per team and having them scrimmage at practice twice a week.

Sorry Dude, your numbers are off. You know that WCFC and NYCFC are one under KT. That puts Mr. Cryer dead last in your race. Also, when you say your daughter is "one of (if not the) best players in NJ", I do believe you open your self up for a lot of critiscism. You are the only one who believes that she is the best, which is fine, cause you're her dad, but don't think that things won't be brought up, like say how she couldn't make the NYCFC team this season. Not because of her talent level, but because of YOU
