Keep them out. Great foot skills, ball control, all of that, but don't need to see kids inviting the pressure in their own box just to do scissor in a situation where the ball needs to be moved vs stuck to her foot. Put 11 of them on the field together and it is certainly beautiful to watch, but eventually you have to realize a large sided field already has the space you need and it is about decision making and what you do off the ball and not just looking for 1v1s all over the field. BTW my child goes to A-Game so don't preach or hate - just realize that at some point U14 and above level coaches expect the skills to be there without having to see them every 5 seconds and they care more about what decisions you just made vs how fast you can do a skill set.

But how can coaches post up on instagram all day if they dont focus on footskills? It is hard to capture working on decision making and setting it to rap music to get followers and potential clients.

Heard there were a few NYCFC and Cedar Stars Girls there which is a HUGE no no on the parents part. They can be dropped from their current teams now lol

how stupid and insular if you join something that you aren't allowed to think about leaving. I don't know the GDA rules but gosh they make it easy to make people not want to join them. and seemingly, to force current members to not know that the soccer world is bigger

lol. it happens at every club, especially at match fit where kids that try out for PDA are routinely blackmailed by the coaches.

for all i know very few clubs (including sta) will actually allow you to play on a different team and finish out a season if you desire.

Why hate on DA so much? If you don't like the league then have your kid play ECNL or other. Its that simple. Others are happy with their decision and it does not affect you one bit.
