Someone's kid didn't get an offer...

Right? I have seen sooo many parents bashing DA before it was announced but of course they had their kids tryout anyway. When their kid didn't get an offer they are appalled about not being accepted to the DA that they initially bashed so much anyway...funny how things work like that

HS play has always been allowed by USSF through waivers. Its kind of unfair because not everyone gets it but it is still a USSF standard. And yes we will be 4 days a week with STA. How many DA standards are you aware of? What other standards are all of these clubs not following? Has your D played for a DA club around here? Most people who comment have never been part of a DA team so don't really know first hand. Considering DA is just finishing its second year not many have much experience with it.

Yes we did play for a GDA club. And yes in your lovely power point you do state that there will be 4 practices in August then 3 sessions after the first few weeks. Go back and check. I’m aware of all the standards. I also know you are telling kids they can play after their HS season is finished. They are not private school kids, but you will skirt around that by not Rostering them until after their season is over

Tim? Nah dude, I got so many emails from you all trying to get my kid, but she is very happy where she is. Even if you did offer to let her train with the ECNL boys for the first year. You knew she wouldn’t be challenged with the girls you took

Matchfit has told us there will be 2 ECNL teams flighted exactly the same.
There was no offer for ECNL Regional Team. It said ECNL in the offer letter.
Is this not true???????

Every single negative post on this thread is from a STA coach who wants to get MF players to run to them. They do not care about ability. They will be overloading their rosters as much as they claim MF does. Shameful. I never thought Tim would sink this low

Every single negative post on this thread is from a STA coach who wants to get MF players to run to them. They do not care about ability. They will be overloading their rosters as much as they claim MF does. Shameful. I never thought Tim would sink this low

Yea right. MF doesn't have anything worth taking. Its has always been the other way around. The kids that get cut from STA end up at MF

Technically there are 2 ECNL teams. One good old ECNL and one brandy new super awesome ECNL-R team

I am not the one who posted the question but I do know for a fact all offers say the same thing. ECNL. If your kid is truly a top player then you have nothing to worry about. If not then Good luck where you end up.

1 team at ECNL and 1 team at ECNL-Regional League. If your kid doesn't play ECNL now not likely going to move up to the first team at Matchfit. In fact if your kid has been there a few years and not developing any new kids that come from outside the club who have been getting better will probably push them down further on the pecking order. Reason they didn't specify is because they need to keep the dream alive.

Time will tell. Matchfit got 1 team into the Champions League I think and some teams didn't even qualify for the San Diego Showcase. So temper your expectations. ECNL-R is Matchfit's NPL teams.
