Very decent team. They’re just missing that one stud.

We're aware of this going in and I would hope existing parents are aware of this as well. If you're there and already given chances to show what you're capable of, then you need to be taking advantage of it. If there's a new player coming in, they need to take advantage of the time they get. Competition drives growth. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that if you're trying to be your best and trying to compete at the top level(for girls). If you've fallen off with playing time, that does not mean you can't earn it back. You need to put in the work and get better. Again, that mentality drives growth. It's only us parents who put a negative spin on it. "My kid isn't getting playing time because of <enter someone else's name other than their kid>"

It sounds like their a decent team and they're not getting blown out other than maybe one game. I bet a couple strong players would go a long way. There's definitely disparity in the conference, but not as much as the standings would lead to believe.

There is nothing good about PDA South other than the ECNL badge. Training stinks, coaches stink, no homegrown players, etc, etc, etc. My d was there for 2 months and left for a PA team. Awful experience.

This 2012 team will never be good unless SJEB and REAL break up and the best girls move there. Good luck with that drama if that happens. But, history tells us that the best SJEB and REAL girls go to PDA Blue, Ukies, PF, FCD, etc. They skip right over PDA South. You will also always have the threat of a satellite PDA team taking the ECNL spot on a year by year basis. It's only happened a couple times in the recent past but always possible again.

Being able to compete in ECNL is exactly what we're looking for and not concerned with homegrown talent as long as there talent coming in for the same reason we are.

As for training, that is concerning. What about the coach and training did you think 'stinks'? Did you leave simply because they were losing games? Who's the current coach of the team?

Assuming you left for Delco or Penn? What about the new club doesn't 'stink'?
