No offense but ecrl aside from a couple teams in the NE is complete and utter bullshat. There are teams in the GA as well as the NAL that would wipe the floor with a lot of these rl teams. it’s all a scam at every level even some teams in ECNL like white and south.

Lets say ECNL-RL does continue to attract players over the next couple years. Long term, if talent is playing in a single league, there's more options that can be done about making competition more even. At that point though, it becomes the question "will anything be done"?

IMO for what is best for the kids at the end of the day, but will never happen, is ECNL, ECNL-RL, GA, NL, or whatever league should compete in some sort of CUP. Not only would teams be able to show how they stack up against other teams, but this would shut up a bunch of the noise here on TS. Fact is like others have said, the talent is spread out.

This would be a good topic to request for the ECNL podcast. They have a link to suggest topics. What's the long term vision for ECRL - promo-rel with multiple tiers (team or club based), keep adding teams to one single tier? Does ECNL want to have 100% of the best clubs in America someday? If so, how would the remaining ones come in, straight to NL, work through RL? Is there currently a defined way for RL clubs to earn their way to NL? Is it assumed that some clubs join RL and should be happy to stay there forever with no chance to ever be NL? Is ECNL afraid that its best RL clubs might start leaving for GA? Many parents would love for all these club v club leagues to consolidate for less travel - does ECNL see itself growing in a way that helps consolidation?

I'm not sure if they'd share their strategic vision, but at some point they may have to if they want any more good clubs to join or prevent some good RL ones from leaving.
