WOW, someone that complains that they cannot understand how someone has enough time to do this has enough time to post 10+ comments himself pretending to be other people. Your life is much much sadder than once thought.

I would also like the app to list futures games so you can see what is expected.

So some guy that is fortunate enough to retire (I am a little jealous and the guy complaining is probably extremely jealous) spent some time doing something that others might enjoy (I do), and this other bozo is acting like he probably acts on the sidelines. You must be a huge embarrassment to your children (and probably proud of it)

If you mean obsessing over potential results and rankings of a youth soccer game, I think you have a better example of "obsession", But, yeah, go on......

If standing and watching my kid play and not getting involved in the stupid sideline antics of the obssessed few makes me one to hate, I'm OK with that.
I'm not the one bragging about my financial situation. You have no idea who I am, what I make, and what I do for work. Yet, you pulled a roll of quarters out of your a55 and proudly led with it. Enjoy. You'll be dead of a heart attack at this rate by the time you hit 55 with all that obsession

"Hi dad, how do you think I played today?"
"Truthfully honey, I have no idea. I really don't know much about the game and spent much of it talking to other parents. But, I do see it appears you won 2-1, and according to my study I expected it to be 3-0 so I'd say you didn't do too well. Do you mind velcroing my sneaker for me? I can't reach it any longer."

in a head to head match up in the regular season rankings app tends to be a a better gauge of results
Too many variables to consider for a tournament..
1. field size
2. length of games
3. back to back game vs 1st team game
Did you go through each matchup individually for both groups?
I agree with some posters that the data they use tends to be dated. Further some teams switch names constantly to improve standings and finally some includes summer team results while most do not bc it’s a mixed bag of development, In my opinion too much data to incorporate but serves a purpose to flex muscle.

"Dad will you please come kick a ball with me?"
"Can't honey, got another macro to run to see some odds on your game next week."

There are a few different ranking apps.
Got soccer is the worst as it only captures their own data
The Soccer Ranking App is way better as it seem to capture more and have a better algorithm for reporting.
I find it to be surprisingly accurate, it obviously cannot account for added / missing talent on any given day...

The parents who mock rankings are either unwilling to make personal sacrifices to have kids play on better teams or their kids just aren’t good enough to make those teams.
