What about a good RL team ??? Like MFA Mercer and pda shore?? Would you say those are worth the money? Or should you play for a USYS team like wall, ocean or freehold. ???? Would love to hear everyone opinion.

MF and Shore are better options if the cost and travel time are reasonable.

I would def play for MFA Mercer. They not only have a good team but they play great soccer! I don’t know too much about pda shore other than they are a newer team. They are prob decent but it takes time to gel and play like MFA Mercer who have played together for a while.

are they worth the money though???? Not PDA only giving you 2 practices per week and traveling to Maryland to play pretty weak competition that you can get in MOSA or EDP. MFA Mercer may be worth the money. They do a ton like winter leagues, friendlies, lots of tournaments, and practice 3x per week. You get more for your money at Mercer IMO.

I would think the USYS teams listed above are lower than these two teams but probably equal or better than RL teams like MFA shore, PSA Monmouth, SCP PDA, pda white RL, PDA south RL, and FC Copa …

Going from the rankings app and excluding a select team that's listed:

1st-4th / Can beat each other on any given day. PDA does have the most depth currently

1. PDA Blue
2. FA Black
3. SJEB
4. MFA Morris

5th-7th / Can beat each other on any given day and compete with 1-4 on any given day, but will probably lose due to roster depth

5. Real
6.CSA Mon
7. MFA Mercer

8th-9th / They are missing pieces to compete with any lower group

8. FA Silver
9. PDA South

10th / I dont know anything about them other than their 2013 playing 2012 ECNL-RL teams

10. MFA Shore

11th-Up There's a big drop off here and will get further and further away from competing

ECNL toxicity all about me me me. Coaches should really focus on creating team team team dynamic to counter this stuff….but they don’t.

I grew up playing the sport and have a kid in this mess and it’s repulsive the way some of these parents and children act toward their own teammates and non teamates. Some of these parents have lost their way from a values perspective. Anyone else noticing this trend?
