The first game was to be played at SJEB but there was a ref shortage due to a big tournament in the area. So the game was to be rescheduled. FA entered the game as a forfeit and a 1-0 W in rankings. Who’s actually lying? lol foh

My 3rd kid is now going through this and this situation is so easy to piece together in my humble experience from the outside looking in. I think the SJEB coach is doing the old bait and switch let’s duck top competition and play up trick.
looking through, they have never beaten tfa, they didn’t really win much at their own age group but went up an age group. They have avoided top events this year with the top 12 groups other than Jeff cup which they didn’t win. They didn’t win the 11 league in the fall. Now tfa have come up to their league and if they win this game they win the league, not a good look for SJEB. I am sorry but seen this a 100 times where the coach fills the kids heads with nonsense that they are two good for their own age group so they play up to avoid losing to teams at their own age group. Now they have a team from their age group in the league it is not going ahead?
according to this forum tfa play all the top 12 teams all the time and seek the competition. It’s not hard to add this all together if I am being honest. Oldest keep kids at our club trick in the book from the SJEB coach here. I will bet a large sum this game doesn’t go ahead.

FA Black never loses bc of the teams they play. Ranked 4th in the US but their schedule is ranked 59th. Make it make sense! Don’t get me wrong, extremely talented group of girls but their spot in rankings should have an * next to it.

This is laughable! You couldn’t be more wrong here. SJEB doesn’t duck like some other clubs. SJEB is playing up a year in premier 1 with this full squad of 2012s. They don’t take guest players. They play in the very top bracket aT every tourney and haven’t played 9v9 since Spring 2023.

It’s because they are not in any of these “top” leagues. If they were they would be number 1 in that app.

I don't know what that is, I don't look at these ranking apps, as they are all designed to benefit rubbish things. Who have they played and what is their results, I think that is a range finder for truth. From what I have picked up on here and looking at their schedule online, they constantly play ECNL and GA teams at events and win them. They scrimmage all these teams from these leagues and win (but that literally means nothing, not trying to throw shade), they win all their leagues and events.

PDA just won their ECNL flight, yet according to this, beat them every time they play?

So what determines a ranking in the schedule? Is this another tool to fool us parents? Because if my daughter's schedule was this, I would be thinking positively.

I agree with this. SJEB has a great team and is ranked high for a reason. They play great competition and play in top tournaments. Didn’t they just win the pda showcase tournament recently??

also nothing against FA. They are also very very good! Both teams are great! There are about 6 -7 teams in this age group that are excellent! And my D is not on any of those and I can recognize that and praise them. I love watching those teams play. I wish my D can one day be on a team that plays in that way. Anyone who knows soccer would agree.

My D plays for CSA and played SJEB at the PDA tournament. One of the father's told one of our parents to F@@K OFF.
It was a disgrace very low class. Hence why players leave that team every year

Didn’t SJEB just sweep the PDA Spring cup, playing 11v11 in the top flight and only allowing 1 goal total against SUSA, CSA, and PDA Blue? What are you even talking about here? Where was FA? They lost Jeff Cup bc they played on the Championship bracket and lost 0-2 to Sting who is arguably the best 2012 team in the country. They also won Wags playing up a year.

Happens all the time. SJEB is an absolute train wreck. From the pine barren parents to the obnoxious coaches. Poor girls.

There is a reason why top SJEB teams fall apart after at around U13 or U14.
