As members of the same soccer team, we have become like a close-knit family. However, recent events have caused us to question whether or not we would be the "aholes" if we were to reveal information that we have that two of our teammates' parents, who are also friends and neighbors, may be having an affair. We have seen them meeting at a local restaurant once they drop the kids off at practice. spotted them parked late at night in our hotel parking lot in his car with tinted windows. (They are not just sitting there for hours) together during tournaments when their spouses were not present. It's a difficult situation because the husband's wife, who is also a friend, is completely unaware. Some of us are torn about whether or not to tell her, while others feel it is our duty to inform her. It's a delicate situation that has been causing tension and discomfort within the team. We can't help but wonder if we would be considered the "aholes" if we were to reveal what we have seen. Ultimately, our concern lies with the well-being of our teammate's wife and the impact this could have on our team. The two families are friends and neighbors and we feel so uncomfortable around this mess. It's destroying our team. Does happen on other teams too?

I’m invested. Absolutely need to keep everyone posted.
Are you in North, Central or South Jersey?

I mean if I was the wife I’d like someone to let me know. I’d hate to show up to a game with others whispering about what’s going on and me not knowing.

Eventually, the mom ended it, but FK made it hard and she wound up moving out of state to get away from him. Now, he's screwing around with the club administrator. Again, we all know about it but keep out mouth shut. Funny thing is, FK is a ugly dude. Why he's able to hook up like this is a joke. What some people will do for playtime for their kids is my guess.

Not all parents like each other, just the facts. Support your kids and if you want to gossip, so be it. Just keep it away from them and I can't fathom how it would destroy a team.
