With YMS, MFA Mercer, etc. getting RL badges will the conferences be realigned? If RL realigns, does ECNL too? Seems like a lot of teams could play mostly local games if things were shuffled around.

there is quite a bit of chatter on the PA page that ECNL is breaking the alignment of North Atlantic NL and RL, meaning they will "regionalize" the RL teams so likely having a separate Maryland/PA RL (Adding a bunch of teams like YMS, Reading Rage). PDA's teams and Matchfit would slot into a NJ area RL playing Copa, MF Shore, Crush, PSA, SCP, etc.
This is the way ECNL Mid-Atlantic works today with Virginia having their own RL separate from the Carolinas

I head MF Mercer got a RL badge, but MFS is going to be using it for their B team. They will both play in ECRL2 and this way they can get promoted to ECNL
its confirmed!!!!!

If I had to guess, you will likely have a true New England RL (MA, CT, RI), a New York, a New Jersey and a MD/PA. In the current New England, North Atlantic and Northeast RLs there are 38 teams, 41 if you count YMS, Reading and Ukies. You can probably do 12 teams in each region
