While every club has its challenges, the coaching and support at SJEB have been exceptional for my daughter. Regarding alumni, the list of SJEB players that went on to have good college careers is a long one. Not going back and forth with you on it. The club has indeed grown through mergers and hiring coaches, which can be seen as a commitment to improving the overall quality of the product they put on the pitch. How is this even a knock, most large businesses hire talent, and have merged or acquired to better compete.

In terms of the college commit nonsense the “clubs “ shouldn’t be posting that stuff for their benefit it’s the kids who earned any chance to play in college and if they instagram committed on their account it’s one thing but for the clubs to use that to promote itself is beyond corny , and I thought committed means college were vying for an athlete wt scholarships and player picked one , not I’m going to some never heard of D3 school and trying out for the team that’s not committed

Your right ! Everyone gets a trophy and everyone gets a committed ! The player who trains when no one is looking sacrifices even when their tired at home , puts in the work that most doesn’t deserves the same trophy as the player “committed “ to Camden county got it , everyone e gets a committed !

Once again, the communication breaks down. I'm not a coach. Just a parent of a kid chasing a dream! From what I see, celebrating players achievements on websites and Instagram is a way to recognize their hard work and success. Sure it’s a business! What club isn’t a “business?” I get that everyone has different opinions, but I appreciate the positive recognition for the kids as I know they do as well.
