What I like most is the genuine care our coach shows for each player. Every girl has the same opportunity and the next, and he emphasizes playing a certain brand of soccer. He is also very good at managing everything and keeping the parents in the loop. His constant check ins and 1 on 1s with the player, parents, etc, etc. Our coach has it together! When training, we never feel cramped bc we have access to several fields other than the Total Turf complex.

        I’m not a coach.

While every club has its challenges, the coaching and support at SJEB have been exceptional for my daughter. Regarding alumni, the list of SJEB players that went on to have good college careers is a long one. Not going back and forth with you on it. The club has indeed grown through mergers and hiring coaches, which can be seen as a commitment to improving the overall quality of the product they put on the pitch. How is this even a knock, most large businesses hire talent, and have merged or acquired to better compete.
You must go the bar or golf with the coach. We know which kids are favored in the club.

In terms of the college commit nonsense the “clubs “ shouldn’t be posting that stuff for their benefit it’s the kids who earned any chance to play in college and if they instagram committed on their account it’s one thing but for the clubs to use that to promote itself is beyond corny , and I thought committed means college were vying for an athlete wt scholarships and player picked one , not I’m going to some never heard of D3 school and trying out for the team that’s not committed

I respectfully disagree. When a club shares college commitments, it rightfully celebrates the hard work and achievements of its players. Whether they commit to a D1 powerhouse or a lesser-known D3 school, each opportunity is a significant milestone and should be treated as one. This recognition not only honors the players but also highlights the club's dedication to developing talent and supporting athletes' dreams of playing in school.

Actually, I'm more of a coffee person, and I don't even golf! I've seen how every player gets equal attention and opportunities. Our coach truly focuses on developing all the kids, not just a few favorites.

Once again, the communication breaks down. I'm not a coach. Just a parent of a kid chasing a dream! From what I see, celebrating players achievements on websites and Instagram is a way to recognize their hard work and success. Sure it’s a business! What club isn’t a “business?” I get that everyone has different opinions, but I appreciate the positive recognition for the kids as I know they do as well.

I try to keep out of other people’s business and not partake in the rumor mill, so no comment.

Your right ! Everyone gets a trophy and everyone gets a committed ! The player who trains when no one is looking sacrifices even when their tired at home , puts in the work that most doesn’t deserves the same trophy as the player “committed “ to Camden county got it , everyone e gets a committed !

Good point that club soccer is a business , so the parent is a customer and should get a return on that business transaction, so if big time college is the return then go to PDA or CSA they have the real committts , check top drawer or another legit site to see where the clubs give back to their customers

Lol, no one’s driving 12-15 hours a week just for practice. We use that time for 1-on-1 or small group training, schoolwork, and spending time with friends. We value work-life balance, and driving to Rutgers 6 days a week is just nuts! In our household, we both work and couldn't pull that off. We're happy with our team and club, and as a paying customer, that's what counts most right?
