Do those players who are ranked 16-22 roster on a non ECNL team to get game minutes where possible?

in SOME of the clubs defense, they do have the same girls listed on multiple teams so they can play with the team if needed. But in general, 22 is way too many. 16 is a good number IF you have a B team you can pull from when needed and all 16 are committed players. 18 should be the max unless you are replacing someone that is out for a really long time. 5 or 6 subs at an 11v11 game is plenty

this is really common to have 6-8 rostered from your team below just in case. USYS and ECNL are different cards

not really that common. most teams cap out at 21, mostly only PDA has more than 21 on a team

So how up to date are these? Just wondering what's up with PDA White pre-ECNL. It seems to have 26 girls rostered. Mistake or trying to decide which team will be PDA White next year?

So why would parents sign up and except a roster of even like more then 18 players unless they were lied too like most clubs do

That definitely happens. Or they start with 18 then add more during the season. Parents also are more likely to overestimate where their kid fits on the roster. Being on a large roster can be ok as long as you're a consistent starter or first off the bench with big minutes. If you're #15-20 or worse 22? Look elsewhere. Problem is many HS aged teams have that many. Do your best to assess their position in it all. Sure you can ask the coach. Some will be truthful, most will tell you what you want to hear.

In HS that's tight. The injuries ramp up and that leaves you with too few subs for a longer game. 18 is fine, but good luck finding a good team with just that.
