Once you get to U14+, it becomes almost exclusively AG up in the NE if you are playing for an MLSN, ECNL or GA type team. The only time my kids play grass is when we travel for showcases and playoffs, so practices are 100% turf/ag and 2/3rds of the games are the same. In a season i would say maybe 10-15% of total time played across games and training is grass and that may be over estimating it.

majority of EDP or even travel teams are playing on eitehr club facilities or at local high schools, which are now predominantly turf. I think it stands that by HS age almost all club soccer is on turf and majority of HS is as well.

Any thoughts on the Nike Phantom Luna on field turf? My kid swears by the fit and comfort but I’m nervous with the spike shape and pattern.
