Have no doubt you didn’t pay attention or post regarding GA playoff results and comp but was all over threads about ECNL teams.
Just be happy where your kid is at and enjoy telling people how “we” played last weekend when “you” in fact didn’t do anything except pick up the tuition bill and provide transportation.
What does GA do developmentally different from ECNL? I know nothing of Nationals other than it seems like they always field strong teams. Have no idea if their coaches all follow a model or its just like most other clubs and Nationals are just better at doing what they do than other clubs, like PDA around here. Is he honeslty saying that all their players were brought up through their system each step of the way and they don't bring in kids at tryouts or talent id's who are better than kids on their current roster? If he is then while I don't know anything about Nationals, but as someone else said he's just jealous because his league isn't considered the "top league". They don't do anything different than ECNL teams, EDP teams. They're just better at how they do it than most other GA teams.
I think the GA has almost 100 clubs in their directory. If you look at ECNL/ECRL directory, they have 140-200 clubs. Neither league can mandate and monitor 240-300+ clubs on how to run their trainings to better develop kids. 240-300 individually run clubs who all think they have the best way of developing and training. 240-300 sets of egos who all know better than everyone else. Every ECNL or GA club recruits. Every ECNL or GA club will find a place for a player who's better that kids they currently have on their rosters. None of them only develop their players from a young age and will turn away better players in the older age groups.
Guess the irony is lost on Robertson when one patch criticizes another patch for advertising their patch.

I don't know if it was on here but there was a discussion of how there was a mass exodus of scouts after the second day of the GA playoffs. When you factor in the weather issues that week, most weren't on site more than a day or day and a half tops.

As for Nationals and if they recruit vs train, my D has played against them for a few years and a majority of the girls she played against then are the same players now.

Not about wins and losses.
For those of you bringing up EDP, or local league, this is not the point.
EDP is not national.
Next, for girls, we want to align on 4 practice sessions per week with 1 high quality game. And, we want to audit that this is occurring.
Player development is priority #1.
in the US we have playing options that none of the European clubs have, Title IX that comes with education and scholarship.
important to note that those European clubs adopting similar standards for males means, SCHOOL & EDUCATION comes 2nd. This would take Women’s Right back 75 years on the European continent.
Take home messages are to truly vet the pro’s and con’s on the Woman’s side. Then, be careful what you wish for.
