Guessing they are going to combine some teams between their Metuchen and Flemington locations? 20 minutes from their Flemington fields and 30 from Metuchen

Copa has been from Metuchen since it’s establishment. That was the only real academy in that area from the early years before it got saturated with new, smaller soccer clubs. If you wanted a academy with a decent reputation they were really the only one in that location. (Parma in North Edison may have been big years ago but recently and now sold) Moving 30 mins away may be good to include the other counties like Somerset but it’s very inconvenient, albeit very nice, for the parents who drive from Middlesex county.
So now if you’re still from, the once considered local area near St. Joes or Rutgers where they have always trained and had home games, you now would look at other clubs instead of Copa. There are clubs closer or same distance as their Hillsborough facilities. Local people wouldn’t find driving to Hillsborough as convenient despite any way Copa advertises it.
I wonder how much their tuition fees will go up to help cover some costs if these facilities?!

When clubs begin to die off, they make desperate partnerships that don't make any sense. This would be one of those partnerships.
The younger FC Copa teams are terrible, and not getting any better. They'll still be around, but will not be relevant at the top end of youth soccer once the 06-08 teams graduate.

maybe their current facilities do not fit into the new ECRL Northeast requirements and they will have to play all of their home games there. So even their home games will be further away now too
And Parma was sold to Match Fit (now call MF Central). Dont think they had enough players to field a 2011 team, so they are doing a 2011/2012 team

I’m sure all the extra sessions they get throughout the year, are invoices also? My daughters team didn’t get anywhere near as many sessions as those teams, despite being in the same age group. Our last league game was late May. Their teams trained and played until
mid July.

Their teams, if referring to the 06 and 07 , trained into the end of June because they qualified for the Elite 64 Nationals. So those teams obviously needed to practice until they left for that tournament. I’m not saying that it isn’t fair if your child’s team wasn’t given fair treatment during the seasons in regards to tournaments but it’s not exactly fair to say you ended in May and those teams kept training when they actually had a tournament to train for. You probably have a right to be salty but not for that example.
