Beside those two teams other teams should be treated fair they also pay for a service and should provide a great soccer experience for the players. They have been losing players the last couple years wondering why

I’m sure all the extra sessions they get throughout the year, are invoices also? My daughters team didn’t get anywhere near as many sessions as those teams, despite being in the same age group. Our last league game was late May. Their teams trained and played until
mid July.

One of the 07 boys team played in the National Finals in Colorado this past week. Clearly this team would need to train and prepare all the way until July. This isn’t saying your kid don’t get some crap deal but you obviously don’t know about other teams at Copa and what they are training for.

The FC Copa Millstone and Sportika Manalapan partnership was a nightmare from the start. Copa said they would be the only soccer club using Sportika. Then covid hit and every town and travel soccer team used Sportika EXCEPT in Copa. Copa never regained a presence at Sportika coming out of Covid, no oversight from the owner and ended up firing their awful Millstone DOC. They closed shop and moved out not too long after that. Big ol' buyer beware for Iron Peak.

Poorly run is correct maybe if they put some more effort at least from the girls side and try to retain some players or even try to keep the players that been at copa .

The problem is that they start with lower end players (people that can't make their town's A team and become disgruntled). So they HAVE to replace people to become better. Seems that they are really pushing their "Greater Flemington" girls teams now. Didnt have any in EDP in the Spring, and not have U11-U14 teams. Some highly placed teams for not being in EDP before. Their 2013 team crushed everyone in Mid NJ FLIGHT FOUR, and now are in EDP Premier-3. They seem to push EDP to put their teams as high as possible

The keep the players they care about. That’s their effort. All their effort is in their top teams. What don’t you get? Longevity and loyalty doesn’t matter at there. You can pay to play and sit the bench. (This happens at every club)

If you want to go then you can go and they won’t actually care if you aren’t a good player. And by good that means if THEYthink you’re good. You can say all day long that your daughter is a super star and walk around in their Copa gear while you kiss the coaches butt, but if they don’t think she’s great it doesn’t matter! You can threaten to leave and they will say sorry it didn’t work out. They won’t try to keep her. Everyone is replaceable.
